Hehehe we've seen them do that. Generally they do it once, fail, and move on. However with six/seven foxes at our porch it happens at least once or twice a year.

I think foxes like to stack as much food in their mouth as they can. They do that with bread pretty often. So fox probably tried to just take it all home with him.
