Looking for a loving forever home for my two cats — they must stay together, Lahore

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a loving, safe home for my two female cats, Ivy and Dolly, because I’m moving abroad for university and unfortunately my family won’t be able to keep them.
Ivy is 3 years old, and Dolly is approximately 3–4 years old. Both are litter-trained and have been living indoors. Neither is spayed yet, and their vaccination records are incomplete, so their status would need to be confirmed with a vet.
**I’m only considering a home that can adopt both of them together.** I really want them to stay together, and finding the right home for both girls is extremely important to me.
I’m looking for someone who can give them a safe indoor environment, proper food, veterinary care and lots of love. I’d also like to stay in touch and receive occasional updates once they’ve settled in.
If you’re in Lahore and genuinely interested in adopting both cats, please message me and tell me a little about yourself and your experience with cats.
If you can’t adopt them yourself but know someone trustworthy who might be able to, I’d really appreciate you sharing this post.

Cleaning after feline panleukopenia virus

Please help me with what to do. I fostered 3 kittens about a month go. It was my first time caring for kittens, and I underestimated they massive cuteness and their messiness. Unfortunately I put them in a carpeted room, and a they had FPV, loose stool messy, it was bad. Thankfully, they survived and they are all well and adopted.

I cleaned the room using home cleaning supply, used enzymatic cleaning products, dawn, laundry, some bleach, room still has subtle smell. I was going to hire a carpet cleaning professional.

But I want to adopt my own cat now, and I discovered that I need to disinfect and sterilize the room and probably every spot in the house, because they did roam around a little, but a new cat can get infected by the virus, and apparently it lives for months if not cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, and now I am paranoid.

I called few companies, but they were not sure and hesitated. But then what, will I ever be able to bring a cat to my house again ?

I am so overwhelmed and don't know how serious is this and how to solve this problem.

Neonatal advice needed

Hi all, I am currently taking care of three 1.5 week old kittens with parasites and they were just put on metronidazole in combination with two probiotics. To make matters worse, they contracted scald from pooping themselves so much that they're on an ointment + aquaphor. Their weights as of Oct. 13 are 110g, 118g and 157g.

Two of the three kittens are handling their condition differently and I'm losing hair over it. One has bloody diarrhea and is in pain whenever I stimulate her, even with a damp cotton ball going as lightly as possible. The boy is lethargic, constipated and has his eyes slightly sunken in, meanwhile the second girl is growing and going potty as if completely unaffected. I'm treating the smallest two with the same meds, same quantity of milk and a slight different amount of Pedialyte, yet they're responding so different.

This is my third time taking care of orphaned kittens under 2 weeks old. I'm so heartbroken and angry with myself for not knowing what I don't know, and their deaths being a lesson. I understand that as foster parents it's easy to blame ourselves even if the pets are deathly ill, but that doesn't make it hurt any less.

Any and all advice is urged!

For context, a have two stronger kittens because the other two got sick and gain slow weight while the other two gained loads more

Anyways, I was watching the kitties play; normal. Little kitty meows, pouncing, swinging tails the whole thing! Then it escalated to them to them actually being upset with each other.

They cuddle and hang out while Supervised, but kept apart, unsupervised.

What happened? It on my happened once and never again. Idk what happened.

New foster wants his nose on my face when I sleep

I’ve only had the guy for one day and am already having a hard time sleeping. I usually foster groups but only have the space for a small litter right now, so I picked up a single kitten yesterday. He’s been very cuddly and always wants to be around me when I’m in my room so I decided to let him sleep in my room, I didn’t want him to feel lonely.
Well, after about 12 hours in bed I got 6 hours of sleep because this dude kept constantly waking me up by shoving his nose in my mouth and eyes or just touching my chin with his wet nose. I tried to move him, redirect him, let him sit close but push him back with my hand until he fell asleep that way, hit he’d eventually wake up and shove his nose in my face. I finally got sick of this around 5 or 6 am and put him outside my room and closed the door. I woke up to him crying a couple hours later.
What can I do to get him to stop? It’s sweet that he wants to be close to me but also really gross to wake up to a nose in your eye and creepy to wake up to a face directly in front of yours with its whiskers tickling you. I don’t even mind if he wants to be close while I’m sleeping, I just don’t want his face in my face and he’ll literally slowly inch closer and closer until his nose is somewhere on my face, and he’s very talkative so he cries loudly if he’s alone for a while.

Cleta and kittens - asking names

Meet Cleta, a proud new mom, and her five kittens.

As you can see, they are Sphynx cats

It’s the first time we’ve had a litter of kittens, and we’re very nervous.

I think we got up at least five times last night to check on them...

We’re looking for advice from experienced people on how to take the best possible care of them.

We’re fostering a litter of 3, almost 2 weeks old. At least once a day, one of them takes a dump in their bedding, and by the time I check on them all 3 have rolled around in it. Bath time again (I keep them warm by using heated towels).

I’ve been calling them the “shittens.”

6 week old kittens we've had since 1 week hate being held

Post image

We took in a stray mama and her 3 itty bitty kittens she had outside our apartment. From the very beginning they were very vocal when held, we kept handling to a minimum while they were small as to not cause any stress, but still picked them up everyday for short periods to check them out/weigh them. Everyone has been vetted and is growing into healthy and rambunctious kittens. As they've grown we've held them more and more to help desensitize and now they're six weeks and still scream when held and are so wiggly. It seems less like fear and more like they just have more important stuff to be doing and exploring. I'll hold them, smooch them, let them wiggle for a second and then let them go again since they are trying to wiggle from my arms. They love being pet and they'll come up to us and follow us around the apartment so they're definitely comfortable with us and people.

I know it's important to desensitize and socialize them at this age, so my question is how do I go about getting them comfortable being held without it becoming stressful for them or something they dread. The one other litter we fostered were all snuggle bugs that would ragdoll in your arms. These current kittens from the very beginning have just made it clear they aren't into being handled in that way. How much do I push it and how much is just their little personalities? Mama likes pets but she's still learning to trust us and has only let us pick her up twice and it was pretty brief but she wasn't stressed about it.

Photo for cuteness!

Edit: I should actually add that one of the black boy kittens is actually becoming more snuggly, he's much more comfortable being held than his siblings and likes to fall asleep on our lap. That's another reason I'm wondering if the other two are just the kind of cats who don't love being held but at this age I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to make them a little more tolerable of it.
