fuck this post F-35 Realism
Guys. I'm reading the news about this or that billionaire re-cuddling up with this or that president, and throwing this or that country under the bus, by switching on or off Starlink like a retarded kitten flipping a light switch.
This got me thinking:
When we'll eventually get the F-35: will ED model all the systems properly? Will they model the kill switch on the export models faithfully, so we can have all systems fail and the pilot forcefully ejected mid-flight whenever a scripted coalition change happens in mission editor? Also, will there be a data cartridge option so we can properly model doing software updates on the plane every Tuesday?
Please, I need to know this because I will only buy F-35 if it has all the realism!
What other realism can you not possibly live without on F-35? Discuss!

AIM-7MH on Hornet
Hey guys, is it just me or is sparrow MH version often lost when fired from the Hornet? It was fine until yesterday, and all of a sudden they keep getting lost.
I do not have the video clips to share (I know, not ideal), but typically, I try to get fast and do an STT lock; when in range I fire them. Is there something I am missing? The MH sparrows from the Eagle are perfectly fine, so I just wanna find out what I am doing wrong. Thanks :)

DCS: TBM Avenger Module Announcement
In the 2026 roadmap, Eagle Dynamics stated their intentions of expanding their WW2 modules, with a focus on the Pacific Theater of Operations (PTO) in 1944. Up until now, only 3 modules have been known, but in a recent newsletter Eagle Dynamics revealed the development of a 4th WW2 pacific module - the Grumman TBM Avenger. This announcement went unnoticed by some, but the answers were there for those who looked.
What gave it away was the October 2nd newsletter, in which they announced updates to the APKWS long-range aiming table. This doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary at first, but lets look at it from a different point of view. If we replace the letters in the acronym APKWS with their corresponding numerical values, we get 1, 16, 11, 23, and 19.
When formatted as coordinates, those numbers place us at 11°16'11.0"N 23°19'00.0"E in southwestern Sudan.

This is where ED gives us our biggest hint. As we all know, Sudan is where the Battle of Abu Hamed was won by Anglo-Egyptian forces under Major-General Sir Archibald. The famous battle occured in 1897.

1897 just happens to also be the length of (CVL-23) The USS Princeton (189.7 meters). In 1944, the USS Princeton participated in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. During the battle, the Priceton was sunk by a lone Japanese dive bomber. The aircraft dropped a 250kg armor piercing bomb that penetrated the ship and directly hit what aircraft you might ask? That's right, a Grumman TBM Avenger.

With this exciting news I'm anticipating a December 2026 release. January 2027 at the latest. There's no official pre-order yet, but I've taken the liberty of writing "AVENGER" on a $100 bill and placing it in my mailbox.

[CORRECT AS IS] Just saw this gram's crop duster decker out for impromptu close air support... so, where do you want your rockets this time?
Also may be mod worthy in spite without sufficient armor. Not an A-10, but sure a fun mod to crop dust and shoot rockets while you are at it. lol.
