These are little collectible original paintings I made for my alien and robot music series of different bands/artists! so I also did daft punk, king gizzard and Angine de Poitrine. let me know what you guys think!

Anybody got any insights or guesses as to why this song isn't on the Mystics anniversary boxes?

This is one of Steven Drozd's best ever tunes and I've loved it dearly for the last 20 years. Still not officially released anywhere, as far as I know. I thought it might be because of it just being his solo thing or because of some licensing issue - but "Smokin' a J" is on there; that's also from the film and I think that's just Steven? 🤷‍♂️

Link to the track.

I've been completely obsessed with that guitar part for a few years now. Sometimes it makes me tear up just thinking about it. It feels like getting a hug from someone after you were just really vulnerable with each other. And it's so simple!

So far I've listened to Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi, and The Mystics. As for other artists, two songs where the guitar is similarly beautiful are Nude by Radiohead and New Grass by Talk Talk.

Bad Days so awkwardly placed in this movie

Also, why was Harvey basically Joker?

I know everyone is excited about the re-re-re-re-re-releases and so on, but I’m only thinking about the new material.

Anyone have a way to get in to this? Or any statusy rich people want to hang with a plebeian?

The event is being put on by SoHo House, an organization with the core principle of “ew poor people”

Many years ago I watched a ripped dvd of zaireeka mixed down with movie footage montages, it was absolutely epic, does it still exist out there somewhere? I believe it was a 5.1 mix, and had the band's blessing provided it was given away free. I remember it had different versions - perfectly aligned, or a slightly misaligned version (having four people press play will always have a slight slight misalignment in timing so it was a more 'natural' mix), or just certain discs at a time, like 2+3 or 2+4. I haven't thought about or seen reference to it for a long long time but it was amazing so hope it's still out there. The artistic choices of the movies cut up were very clever and sticks with me still whenever I hear any of the tracks. And who made it? I hope they know how amazing what they did was.

Was just listening back through "Due to High Expectations...." and was reminded that for some reason the album ends with a minute or so of what would later become "The Train runs Over the Camel..." from Zaireeka. I just wanted to ask does any one know why it's there. It's interesting to know it was being worked on this early in the 90s and I feel it fits the sound they had at the time. But it's still kind of weird it was just slapped at the end there.

The 6CD set features the original album remastered for the very first time, 19x previously unreleased Demos, 14x previously unreleased studio recordings, a further 42x non-album tracks, and U.F.O.'s At The Zoo and the previously unreleased Live At The Hollywood Bowl concerts, both on CD for the very first time.

I recently received this in the mail but I’m currently going through a financial hurdle at the moment. Only opened for proof of signature and only flipped through a few times. Near mint condition. Offers accepted. Thank you guys 🙏

She has a black belt in Karate!

Does anybody have footage from watching the fireflies glow last night? During the song, Wayne recognized me and said my name (Dexter) on stage. But, it was the second I stopped recording. Does anyone have the full songs footage or just a part of it that might have the footage I’m looking for.

Seeing the band at Bourbon and Beyond this weekend. Since they aren’t on tour, wondering what current merch they’re bringing to festivals. Anyone know?

Went to B&B last year and loved it. This year it’s a dream lineup with the Lips, Violent Femmes, Cracker and a ton of artists I’m excited to hear for the first time!

I was at the The Soft Bulletin (Noise Pop show) at Bimbo’s 365 Club, 2/21/2012 (San Francisco).
I have honestly seen hundreds of live shows and this was one of the standouts if not, the absolute number one live music experience of my life.

I’ve hoarded all the clips off of YouTube, but have yet to find the soundboard recording/documentation of the show.

Does anyone know of such a thing exists?

I noticed this a while ago with just telepathic surgery, now they’ve done it with priest and oh my gawd, I assumed this was a mistake but idk now.

Anyone seen these in person that can speak to the sizing of the baseball jersey?? I'm leaning medium because I don't want it to be too tight, but I also don't wanna be swimming in it! Part of me thinks the small will be better length wise, but then it risks being too tight. The chick in the photo is probably wearing a medium and it's pretty baggy on her.

Also, FYI, I have two carts, one on the band's merch store and one on the team's. The one thru the team's shop has free shipping over $75!
