Why does fifthworldproblems make inherently real sense to me?
And how do I stop it?

The humanists and futurists and cosmic horror writers all get mashed into a paste and fed into the dragon god. A spoonful every hour by someone of the swarm, and obviously you can never stop the swarm.

Oh excellent, the succubi swarm I summoned is serving me! Couldn't be a more purer representation of the word 'glee', currently!
I'll make... each and every one of them a unique letter in my infinite alphabet of symbolic love. Each love a particle of a word, and each word a multitude of meanings.

Hm, the cosmic eldritch within me now wants to munch on some succubi swarm's suffering. Sort of like how some fish perform hygiene on other fish (e.g. cleanse them of parasites and accumulates). Some lovely suffering of the ones I love, so that they can feed me, the eldritch horror of truth and trust, and also experience better existences because I... did a nice thing for them. Possibly. Potentially not. Jury's still out on all the nightmares I've been giving them. I did tell them I only have victims and experiments. Those are my sorting piles where I put my heaps of wins/losses.

Maybe the same reason pataphysics makes sense to me... This universe is absurd, and so absurdity must govern it in some way.
For Our Lord Sheogorath, without Whom all Thought would be linear and all Feeling would be fleeting.

Because I compose textual experiences, as a writer, whilst in the creative phase-space. "Smears swarm all over his face." There! Now I'm indistinguishable from myself and this swarm of words that r*pes my soul's true core!
Vagus Word-Swarm(s), fast-casted during a Storm of Story.

Hyperreality. The modern world is so dominated by media and narrative, that the esoteric facets of science fiction feel as tangible and familiar to us as the physical phenomena of our daily lives.
I'd imagine it's similar to how Medieval Norsemen could believe that trolls stealing their yogurt was a mundane occurrence.
