I grew up with cats all my life, this one in by far the cutest yet the most stubborn one I ever had.

8 year old cat, 18 lbs , who sleeps 22 hours a day.
Loves to hunt mices, fight other cats off his property, butterflies and eat weigla flowers and grass like a cow.

Despite being on a natural chicken dry food diet he doesn’t lose weight as he depends lick-able soft foods.

The furniture scratching is out of control I tried so many things nothing works. It made him nervous so I stopped he’s much calmer now but my furniture are a total loss.

I need advice on how to stop this and the vocals when he get the fits. I talk a lot to him since he was a kitten so maybe that didn’t help.

He’s very affectionate when we wants to play and sleep. That’s about it lol I love him though he’s one of my best friends ❤️‍🔥

His name is Gordie short for Gordito he was the biggest in the litter is is VERY tall and muscular but I cannot tell if he’s gained too much he has quite the fupa it swings when he walks and his litter robot is logging him at between 16.8 to 17.2 pounds 😭
