Seeking a new primary care physician. Looking for recommendations from women going through perimenopause.

The title pretty much states it. I am a mid 40's woman looking for a good primary care physician that you love. I am dealing with perimenopause and also have a history of TBI. Currently on Medicaide. Does anyone know someone who fits this description that you think is a great care provider in the area? Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Dr. Katherine Klein with Intermountain Health in Cherry Creek takes Medicaid and I really liked her when I saw her. I'm also a mid-40's woman.

Thank you for this. That is the office I currently go to. I was hoping for someone in Englewood so as not to have to drive across town. I appreciate the info though. I'll look into her, thanks!

My wife is also going through perimenopause. She uses Claire Moen at Swedish Family Medicine. She's a young doctor but really listens and understands her needs.

I believe the CU WISH clinic takes Medicaid. If your current primary care, or other doctor, can refer you because I do think it’s referral only. But it’s women’s integrated services in health and they are supposed to be peri and menopause specialists. There is one at Anschutz but there is also one in highlands ranch/park meadows so not too too far
