Anyone with experience on European rotation roles
Hi everyone, just looking for some insight from people who have experience working on rotation in Europe. I’ve been offered a mechanical engineering role on a data center project in Europe for an Irish contractor. The role is a 3/1 rotation. The wording in the contract is quite vague around working hours. While on site in Europe, the contract states a minimum of 37 hours a week but says to facilitate project requirements more hours and half day Saturdays may be required. Then on the 1 week off site back in Ireland the contract states you are still responsible for the works under your remit and is important you keep connected with the team and the items connected to you.
I have no problem with working long hours I just want to get a feel of what the typical experience is when on site and then off site. Would appreciate anyone to share their experience.
Thanks in advance.
