Discussion Being an ENFP and being fascinated by how people think
🧠ðŸ’
One thing about me is that I'm genuinely fascinated by how different people's minds work. Like, how can two people experience the same situation but walk away with completely different perspectives?
I love asking people random questions, hearing their stories, and trying to understand why they think the way they do. Sometimes I'll remember a random conversation for days just because something they said made me see things differently.
I'm especially curious about the little things people don't usually talk about, like how they make decisions, what goes through their minds when they're alone, or why certain things matter so much to them.
It's not even about judging anyone. I just find people incredibly interesting. Everyone has their own little world inside their head, and you can never fully know someone just by looking at them.
Any other ENFPs like this, or am I just naturally nosy in a philosophical way? What's something about human behavior that you find fascinating?

Question/Advice/Support Dating/ what else question?
Yo! I'm 21, Christian, and I'm a big boy right, so I am not physically attractive, or I don't take stock in my physical attractiveness in terms of my 'perks'(?). But I know I'm good at making people laugh and making them feel heard, when they need an ear to listen.
While I am trying to go to the gym and making it a habit, what else can I do?

Question/Advice/Support ENFPs, how do you find meaning and purpose in life?
I’ve been struggling with this for a while. I’m going through a long depressive episode, partly connected to childhood struggles, and I’m finding it difficult to see the point in things sometimes. I don’t believe life has any objective meaning, but I still want to find a reason to enjoy being here.
I want to get to a place where I can embrace my curiosity, creativity, freedom and just enjoy experiencing life, rather than constantly analysing myself or trying to figure everything out. I think I’ve spent so long in survival mode that I’ve forgotten how to actually live.
For those of you who’ve been through something similar, how did you get out of it? How did you find meaning and start enjoying life again, especially if you didn’t have much social support?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences.

Random Solitude and Extraverted Intuition
Do you sometimes sense the beauty of the world, its silken underside?
When you are completely alone, do you feel a mysterious, beckoning magic like a call, an invitation?
So much brilliance, charm, beautiful places and people.
It seems to me that what we call loneliness arises only with the thought: "But what about me? How do I fit into all this? What is my place in it?" and so on.
But before that thought, there is only enchantment and the desire to experience that beauty, to stay with it, to surf within it.
Perhaps we should simply leave that thought - "But what about me?" - untouched.
Simply exist in the space before it, where everything is fresh and anything is possible , just like in childhood.
It must be the enchantment of autumn acts .

Question/Advice/Support What do we do for work ?
F30 I am really struggling at the moment to continue my career in my previous field. I did 6 years in sales because I thought that I like communicating with others, but the reality of having a quota to hit every month is soooo exhausting and I don’t have a good organization. What do you guys do for work ?

Discussion Confidence
Does anyone else experience this?
I feel like when I talk to people I come across as confident, opinionated and secure, but I always end up overthinking what I said in my past conversations.
I think I might have ADHD since I read heavily on it and found myself with the same symptoms, either way that is also another aspect I think is accentuating this problem.
I have no issue presenting in front of large groups of people- on fact, I love it since it's a time I can talk without directly affecting people without it being a conversation. It's general, topic specific and I don't have to cater.
But with conversations I have a very large struggle because I can never stop thinking about things I've said the same day, the day before (not joking) entire months ago even when the people I said them to genuinely don't care.
I complimented another girl one time (as a girl) and spent the next week thinking if my compliment came out wrong and even apologised for it.
I think apologising constantly has made me more insecure and came as a result of many of the people around me (not friends / people outside, but relatives) always telling me I talk too much and so I started resenting myself for it. As a student I used to participate in class discussions and ask questions but now I feel like I'm suppressing it so I don't 'dominate the classroom'.
Does anyone know how to overcome this? I feel like I've matured more and actually find that I let others talk when it's a conversation but I still have that lingering sense of self-loathing every time words come out of my mouth.

Discussion The ENFP experience: feeling everything, thinking about everything, and somehow still figuring yourself out.
One thing I've noticed about being an ENFP is how easily I can get caught up in possibilities. I'll think about something random, and suddenly I'm imagining five different ways it could turn out. I love asking questions, exploring new things, and hearing people's stories because there's always something interesting to discover.
I'm also the type of person who can be loud and playful one moment, then go quiet because I've started thinking about life, relationships, and the meaning behind everything. People might see the fun, outgoing side of me, but there's a whole lot going on in my head that I don't always explain.
I think one of my biggest struggles is balancing what I want to do with what I actually need to do. I get excited about new experiences, but sometimes I have trouble staying consistent when the excitement fades.
Still, I wouldn't trade my curiosity for anything. There's something exciting about always wanting to learn, grow, and see what else life has to offer.
Other ENFPs, do you ever feel like you're constantly discovering new versions of yourself?

Question/Advice/Support Any of y'all into math?
I am working on drawing a Christmas card for my bf. He is very into math (doing a PhD in mathematics) so I wanted to include something real nerdy and mathy as part of the card.
Essentially I want this graph to represent that my feelings for him are ever increasing but that I can never find the words to fully explain how I feel about him.
Does this graph make sense to represent that? It would be real awkward if I got the graph wrong so I wanted to check with those of y'all who actually do maths more regularly.

Discussion Who do you all share small moments of life with
Hello fellow ENFPs!
I had a question for those who don’t really have a super best friend that they tell everything to. Who do you share stories of your life with?
I don’t really have a best friend and I’m not super close to my siblings, so the only people I would tell everything to were whoever I was dating at the time. Being single now, I was wondering who should I share my little life events with. Not that I think my life is super interesting or anything and that everyone should know what I’m doing. Just that sometimes something happens that makes me really happy and I just want to tell someone, but who do you tell when there really isn’t that someone at the moment?

Discussion Do any fellow ENFPS also need to Withdrawal?
As the title says, do any of yall ever need to withdrawal from people to reset? Sometimes I feel like I explode with passions, then later in the month I get overwhelmed because I realize that oh no I think I overcommitted? It's like I give myself burnout haha.
Anyone else deal with this?
Random As an ENFP guy, if I was born a girl I'd have been such a menace
Being so rebellious and so stuck up in my head, while also being kind and inspiring to friends and family would create such amalgamation of hype and pure energy where being a girl would just add up to the craziness. I can totally see myself being that bruh-girl that any traditionally feminine girl despises but every shy and reserved girl embraces my enthusiasm and freedom. Majority of my friends are introverted (as your regular ENFP) and they always get encouraged to go all out if I take the lead in the chaos. I always liked to experiment with my looks and interest, so being a girl opens a whole ass another dimension of aesthetics and fashion that I'd gladly explore. Would also probably be popular among guys as that one crazy girl who will jump before saying jump and every single one of them would probably have crush on me.
For those who watched Your Name, the middle and later part of the movie where Taki just goes balls to the wall in Mitsuha's body and just teases/doesn't care about how people perceive him while absolutely destroying people's expectations and assumptions is the energy I'm mad in love with. Some of these things you just can't do as a guy. Having a guy perform something that is usually deemed as masculine is pretty normal shit, but if a GIRL did that everyone is left in awe, and I freaking love that energy!!
The image is random find on pinterest where a girl mogs everyone in the room or something.
edit: just for the record, I'm straight and you can't convince me otherwise you weirdos, even if I were a girl I'd still love girls, we men are just dumb im amazed how can you like'em 😅😅

Personality Test I need some gentle souls to help fine-tuning a promising Typing test. People that know their type with 100% certainty.
mazwiz.comI created a typing test that works based on what you resonate with, it gives you a feed of cards with statements, quotes, scenario, and you select only the ones you resonate with, this way the cognitive load is very low , also the feed adapt to funnel down your type, you just select what you think is related to you.
I tested with an INFP friend that I am 100% sure she is INFP and it worked very well, it found her type with confidence, but I need more data points to be sure, with people that are 100% sure of their type.
At the end of the test, in the result page, you will have a frame that ask you to share your result, with a simple button. It will send me the informations I need in my database, it gives me all the cards you selected, the timeline of the guess of your type, how the algorithm reacted, etc, it helps me to fine-tune the test.
I really feel that this method can work and be more accurate than anything that already exist.
Thank you in advance if you try it.
PS: I will share the findings on a result page (on the intro page), for everybody to see how it evolves.

Discussion ENFPs are fucking exhausting and I think half of us are too obsessed with ourselves to notice.
Update: this post was made to infuse a discussion about our type! No harm was intended, and it seemed like it made a lot of people voice their opinion, which was the objective!
I’m starting to think ENFPs are some of the easiest people to fall in love with and some of the hardest people to actually put up with.
We love talking about how deeply we connect with people, how empathetic we are, how we see things nobody else sees.
Yeah, congratulations. You made someone feel like the most interesting person in the world for three weeks before you got bored and found a new obsession.
Then you come crying to Reddit because nobody understands you.
Maybe they understand you perfectly. Maybe they’re just fucking tired of your shit.
And the superiority complex is hilarious.
Apparently we’re more creative, more emotionally intelligent, more open-minded, more passionate
and more interesting than everyone else.
So why the fuck do so many of us struggle with the most basic things in life?
You can apparently read someone’s soul within five minutes but can’t figure out how to reply to a text without disappearing for four days?
You crave deep, meaningful relationships but lose interest the second someone becomes predictable?
You hate being controlled but somehow expect everyone around you to adapt to your moods, impulses and latest identity crisis?
And somehow it’s always because the world is too boring for us.
Here’s a thought: Maybe you’re not too complex for other people. Maybe you’re just a pain in the ass.
I’m including myself in this, by the way.
But I genuinely wonder how many ENFPs would still love being ENFPs if they had to date themselves.
Because I suspect a lot of us would be fucking miserable.
Would you actually date yourself, or do you just expect other people to tolerate shit you wouldn’t tolerate for five minutes?
