Homemade sourdough hamburger buns, sprinkled with chopped pumpkin seeds. A 100g each.

Inside we have roasted speck, two beef quarterpounders, cornichon sliced lengthwise, melted brie and melted cheddar, estragon mustard, salt and black pepper.

Very delicious. 😋

Just a basic turkey salami on potato bread with the traditional fixings. But the completed plate was beautiful.

The late night sandwich Joan Crawford used to make for her first husband Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. when they were newlyweds back in 1929. Can you guess the ingredients?

And it's only Monday.

Buns are made with 100% graham* flour, brewer's yeast, sourdough starter, full-fat milk, water, eggs, sugar, butter, salt. Sprinkled with black sesame seeds.

Inside we have 2 beef patties (70g each), melted cheddar, tomato slices, pickles sliced lengthwise and a mayo/ketchup/mustard sauce.

Simple and delicious! 😋

Le Rosbif. Roast beef, copious amounts of horseradish cream, onions caramelised in the beef dripping, pickles, rocket on a sourdough baguette.

Despite temping, roast beef wasn't quite as rare as I would have liked -- quite a small joint roasted in the air fryer -- but still tender and incredibly flavourful.

Oh, and butter. All my sandwiches have butter.

Tip for horseradish - get the Polish stuff from a Polski Sklep. Stronger and way tastier than the weak supermarket sauce, and you can always blend with sour cream to taste.

This thing was so good. With homemade spicy garlic pickles. Phew.
