If you know of a space available for me and my motorhome around Lakeside, El Cajon, or nearby areas, I would appreciate it. I'm a retired senior and can pay rent and help out in other areas. Would consider horse ranches, farm (I like animals), a back yard, or other venues. Any questions, contact me at e-mail: rbca@aol.com.

Many of us have seen posts here about SDGE and the issues surrounding the company, as well as the frustration these issues have caused. If you haven’t heard yet, the CPUC is holding a public hearing on November 10 at Santee City Hall to consider SDGE's proposed general rate increase for 2028. There are two sessions, at 2 pm and 6 pm. You can attend in person or submit a comment online: https://apps.cpuc.ca.gov/apex/f?p=401:65::::RP,57,RIR:P5_PROCEEDING_SELECT:A2606015

If you’re concerned about SDGE’s profits coming at the expense of our community, I encourage you to do both. Let’s make sure SDGE hears from our community: no more rate hikes. I volunteer with the organization linked below, which is working to help San Diego move toward public power. Please take a look at its page about the November CPUC hearing:

For a great cause. Your donation is appreciated!

Stay cool people.

Hi Everyone!

I run a small nonprofit, and we need your help (even a reshare on socials is helpful!) We have an amazing season launching on Oct. 5th. Our org is all about empowering girls, building confidence, and learning a new sport. We're in desperate need of community volunteers to serve as Empowerment Coaches for a 7-week season. The commitment is 1 hr of practice during the week and a couple of hours on Saturday morning. If you or ANYONE you know might be interested, email me at operations@girlsrugbyinc.com

*Note: You do NOT need to know Rugby. We have full lesson plans with video tutorials and guides for every step of the way. You have to be reliable, pass a background check, and care about empowering young girls! We'll teach you the rest! Check out our page here: girlsrugbyinc.com/socal

FOR RENT: Looking for a roommate to occupy my guest bedroom and bathroom in my 2 bdrm/2 bath Mobilehome. Tenant will have full use of amenities. Washer/Dryer, A/C, and a large porch deck with a Mountain View. It's located on the border of Lakeside and El Cajon.

Hi, I found a pretty large water monitor lizard. I was wondering if maybe y'all could help me find the owner.

If anyone knows somebody that had a very large lizard, maybe reach out and see if they are currently lost.

Send me a message 👍

Just want to introduce myself. A semi-retired senior who has lived in Lakeside the past 8 years on 2 horse ranches. New to chat groups. Have worked with horses, doing grooming, even hitching up to wagons for owner to give rides to public on and off ranch. Had a tax & bookkeeping practice before retiring. Would like to find a new place to live as current owner is renovating ranch and needs my space. Also live in a motor home. Can pay some rent. If any questions or leads, you can contact me at [rbca@aol.com](mailto:rbca@aol.com), or here.

MADE YOU LOOK !
