Context

Okay, the reason why I am asking this is because I have seen my post on Reddit, YouTube comments section, and comments on TikTok trying to normalize incest and saying that, yeah, that's completely common or normal for siblings or blood family members to sexually experiment with each other or that many do be sleeping with or engaging in intimate activities. Some people online even say that it is very common for kids who are family members to be doing stuff like that as well.

And I personally cannot relate to any of this, especially when I was a young kid. I have two brothers and I'm the sister, and trust me, I was not doing any of that stuff with them, nor were they doing that stuff with each other when they were young kids, and I definitely did not have any desire.

Even when I did reach the age range to be curious about intimacy and about bodies and sexuality, I in no way wanted to do any form of experimenting with any of my male family members at all. Preteen and teenage me did not think any of my male family members were hot.

Anyway, I'm a weirdo for not relating to any of these stories or any of these worldviews on family relationships or sibling relationships and also for thinking that incest is not normal or common.

Yes breast cancer is a serious issue. My mom got breast cancer and had to have one removed. It's been a horrible thing she's had to deal with for the rest of her life, feeling disfigured.
Not saying breast cancer awareness should be less, or the month should go away.

But prostate cancer is also a thing, and actually more men (not a huge number but still more) get prostate cancer than women get breast cancer.
It's also harder to detect, and similarly deadly.

So why is there no awareness month for it? Or why not bundle them both into the same month?

It's kind of like they're acting as if one is worse and needs more awareness than the other but shouldn't they both get awareness?

Ok so this is gonna sound stupid because it is.

My buddy and I saw that story about the woman in Michigan who got randomly assigned “DCK 247” and we thought it was hilarious.

I was buying a new truck anyway and he goes “I bet Iowa DMV would approve PNS 247.”

I told him no chance in hell because obviously somebody has to look at custom plate requests and there’s no way they would approve that.

So we made a bet. He paid for the plate application. If it got rejected he owed me $200. If it got approved I owed him $200 and had to actually put it on the truck.

I figured this was basically free money.

Well the plate showed up today.

PNS 247.

They actually approved it.

I havent told him yet but I’m obviously paying him the $200 because I lost. The problem is I really dont want to drive around with that plate on my truck.

Can I just go to the DMV and surrender it and say I changed my mind?

Or could I get in trouble because I knowingly requested something that was obviously meant as a dick joke and they somehow approved it?

I’m mostly worried I’m gonna walk in there, explain what happened, and then suddenly they decide I did something illegal or fraudulent or whatever.

I know this is probably a stupid question. Thats why I’m asking it here. But am I gonna get in trouble?

I work customer service and as every customer service employee has ever stated, there's no common sense left in people. Has this been like a steady slope downward since the internet? I get old people who have nothing going on up there all the time and they were alive before it so i doubt that's the reason. Has it been this bad forever and I'm just realizing it?
