Wild question but has anyone attended these concerts with pain issues and found it to be fine? I worry about the vibration but I really want to see them haha.

I'm lately listening to the Child of Darkness LP (by Bedemon) alot. I like the lyrics and the sound of it alot. Its lyrical themes also seem to differ from Pentagram (at least the Relentless album) and seem even more pessimist and dark. I also like the rawness of the recordings.

I'm already aware of (the "big bands") Pentagram and St. Vitus wich are pretty close to it.

For some reason I enjoy listening to these lyrics 💀

I’ve got a Boss Katana 50 and I really do not like it at all so I been looking into replacing it. I was looking for a cheap used OR-15 or Dark Terror when I found a Super Crush 100 with a Peavy 2x12 cab for $400 just 30 minutes from my house and it seems like too good of a deal to pass up. Only issue is I’m just a lowly bedroom guitarist with a full time job and a one year old so I rarely have time or an opportunity to play loud.

Is it ridiculous to get a 100 watt amp and never even crank it? Can an amp that powerful even get quiet enough to not annoy my wife and neighbors and still sound good?

Basically songs you would use to introduce doom to someone?

I think this works because it has a great chorus, isn't too long, meaty riff and is rather catchy. Great entry song to the genre.

What else would you consider a song to get people acquainted with doom, stoner, sludge etc etc

I never really could understand the lyrics besides the chorus, so last year I decided to google the lyrics and fucking a lol. I don't know if people could understand it better than I but that would explain some off the odd expressions I'd see when I'd sit out on my driveway handing out candy.

This is such a great album and gives some similar vibes to ‘Carheart’ by Virus I’m only just now realising… which I also love, so it makes sense! Anybody know if the two bands are related in any way? Am I just crazy?
