Im not here just to complain that ive been losing games because its giving me smurf enemies or something, im here because I genuinely believe this game sabotages your games with shit teammates to enforce the 50% winrate. When im playing solo or duo, I almost never feel truly challenged by the enemy team during my wins. During the losses though, its almost guaranteed there is a negative dps just feeding. Whenever I play in full stacks of the same skill level, we just win and win and win over and over until we genuinely find tough fights higher in rank. The only time this game enforces 50% winrate with tougher enemies who actually challenge you and make you learn from them is when they cant hit you with a 30 year old reaper otp who just got off a 10 hour shift ready to fuck your gm rankup game right up the ass into silver. It is horrifyingly consistent how this happens.

Is it time to start hopping on ranked and throwing games? Like the mercy's did? This is FUCKING ridiculous

Personally I’ve always banned Ana for my 1st slot, but now I’m considering swapping Ana for jetpack cat. I recently lost a couple games because the enemy team was running JC and lifeweaver and I kept annihilating the LW but it didn’t matter because I couldn’t touch the cat. Atleast with Ana I can bait her cooldowns, JC has no counter play as Doom. And for my second ban, goes without saying, Orisa.

Also, why did my slam come back with 2 seconds left? Or is it a bug with the ult?

I mained doomfist in ow 1 but after he was switched to tank, i never really got the hang of it but this season i have been playing him a lot and he is probably the funniest character to play

Couldn’t get myself to post in the big subs because they are insufferable over there.

This is about the shitty forced 50% wr. I’m g1 on my main and it just won’t let me the fuck out. Just unwinnable smurfs, cheating hanzos and sojourns, just plain unwinnable if I don’t grind my ass off and carry. I got so exhausted of the cycle, carrying, getting worse than bad teams, cutting my losses, solo queue grinding up again….

I am confident in myself and I know that I’m not the greatest player but after previously playing 150+ gold matches, knowing counters, intuitively tracking cooldowns and abilities, carrying matches, I can say that I’m sure I’m at least slightly above average.

I might have lost a few unwinnable, but carryable games because of my energy levels (from work and life and stuff) but it’s just unfair that it expects me to be playing at a +2-3 higher skill tier just to maintain my rank and not go down.

To test this, I made an alt.
- It gave me diamond+ lobbies in most of my quick play matches.
- I start placements and SAME SHIT AGAIN, I get an emerald dps teammate who says he was new, actually doesn’t know what’s going on or why he was placed there and ofc we lost. I was also playing while working (that’s on me, but tbf I thought emerald teams might be slightly more helpful, but alas it’s just gold but green colored)
- It took my predicted rank from e5 to p2.
- Then I somehow grinded and did the rest of my placements.

Shits a scam, it placed me plat 2, almost emerald. And I won an emerald-plat game the next day, actual curb stomped with doom and domina. it said ‘variance’ and pushed me to plat 1. Then gave me another same unfair lobby with unranked teammates, and I lost one.

Sure, If I play more it might push me down / up, but if the game itself can’t properly decide skill without doing all of these shenanigans, how do I even self improve or even find motivation to play into a broken system?

This just don’t make sense anymore. I love the concept of the game, but the current state feels disconnected, with too many changes that don't work well together.

It feels like their focus is just on play time and keeping the skin buyers happy. Work and life are tiring already, I can't always play at my peak, and the game just feels unforgiving and unplayable :( and idk what to do
