Never heard of this before! Also a trained mountain rescue dog

Is there any things that would help him while we are at crufts? we are staying for 3 nights and he’s never been out for so long. He’s very good and settles rather fast, but wanting to make it as smooth as possible for the sweetest boy!

He did such a good job today, I'm so proud of him!

This weekend just gone my guide dog Storm had his first experience on a ship and with steam trains. Nothing bothered him, not the noise, nor crowds or terrible weather on the Saturday evening. He had a blast guiding me around Central station and through Sydney CBD.

This dog is my saving grace. Shes exactly what I prayed for. She made many friends today.

Guide Dog Storm and I have only been a team for a couple of weeks but he is such a trooper dealing with the busy city centre on a rainy day wearing his raincoat and then two days later walking around Cronulla in the sun with dog distractions everywhere

Hey guys. Curious if there is a lot of work in the US for a certified EDC team?

Refuses to do it any other way. He doesn't like the idea of looking at the audience I guess

Vega is my multipurpose service dog in training. Shes currently trained to: Perform DPT, lay under my legs to raise them, retrieve dropped items, retrieve my water bottle, and some behavior interruptions. She has more tasks to learn, but she’s absorbing well and learning quickly. ❤️

I am SO proud of Shadow. He’s been in this SD program for almost 2 1/2 years. He has learned and overcome SO much.

This program was designed by Veterans, for Veterans. Where we, are taught how to train our own Service Dogs.

Shadow was attacked by 3 hybrids 5 weeks ago when we were staying at a friend’s house during a fire evacuation for a week. He was injured pretty badly the last day, but thankfully is recovering. He did suffer a lot of psychological trauma though, which has caused some regression. Understandably so. It was traumatic for me as well.

We (he and I) have been working hard to address those struggles and he has come SO far in just a few weeks.

Last night was a room FULL of dogs! And he didn’t have any troubles at all! One boundary was voiced quietly by him when a Great Dane got in his face. But that was it.

He takes amazing care of his momma and is such a wonderful and kind boy! Loved by so many. I am beyond proud of him. So blessed to have him in my life ❤️

Thank you for letting me share the HUGE milestone with you.

So I’m reposting, stating that he is a Service Dog in the title. Also added another picture of him at work showing his SD vest better.

My Service Dog got was mistreated by a coworker. She used her foot to push him inside my door and she told him “inside” while I was standing there getting a box she was dropping off at my classroom.

Shadow graduates his SD program Saturday! So he is trained and well behaved!

He was attacked by 3 hybrids, 5 weeks ago while we were evacuated for a fire 3 minutes from our house. He’s come so far in recovering from that trauma. But is still glued to my side.

He was doing his job at the door beside me Wednesday. Protecting me and making sure I was ok. There were 2 cop cars just outside and he wanted to make sure everything was ok out there too. (Something I always let him do) He also just wanted to say hello to this coworker but knew he couldn’t without permission! So he was in front of her waiting for permission to get pets, or for her to acknowledge him.

I told her “please do not kick my dog!” And she argued semantics with me. 🙄 I followed up with a text stating firm boundaries. But I am LIVID.

Shadow (and momma) need all the boops and loves we can get. Thank you!!!
