This is Ginger, my 4-year-old Jack Russell mix.

Sometimes she starts howling in this unusual way, as you can hear in the video.

I'm really curious about why she does this and what she's trying to communicate. Is it normal dog behavior, a way of expressing emotions, or could it mean something else?

She rattles his letterbox with her nose on our way past every day to "collect" him for his daily exercise! He tells anyone who'll listen that Muffin is his best friend and keeps him young 🥹🐶❤️
