are there archiving programs or apps that work with LiveJournal clones?

All the answers are super old. So's my little ljArchive program, which worked on LJ and most of its clones. Doesn't anymore. Does anyone have a solution that works today? i've got firefox and windows

We'd like it for offline use, not porting it to someplace else that's online. Thanks.

If the clone still exposes RSS or Atom, i’d use that as the stable path: pull each feed into a local reader, then periodically save the entries as HTML or plain text plus any image attachments. That avoids relying on a single old app.

For older posts, check whether the site can export XML or a full archive first. If not, a small rate-limited script or browser-save workflow can snapshot your own journal, as long as it follows the clone’s terms. Keep two copies and test opening a few old entries before trusting the archive.
