I tried to start using Dia instead of Arc today, but as I'm heavily using nested folders, the profiles were just a mess.

Please, add these....

• Peek: Opens a link in a floating pop-up window when you click it (or use a shortcut), letting you quickly view the page without leaving your current tab or opening a full new tab. The pop-up closes when you click away.
• Little Arc Dia: A related mini-browser window used for quick lookups, link previews, or searches triggered from external apps (activated via Command-Option-N on macOS).

In Dia, I can’t just collapse a tab (hide it in a group) with one click like I do in Arc, and it’s so annoying. Do you think they will make Groups more like in Arc?

This what happened in real workflows that matter!

Hi everybody, could someone help me with this? I am not sure if it is a glitch, but when I try to reorder the pins, they go back to their previous positions right away. I tried to unpin and pin them again, restart the app, and it is still the same problem.

Coming from Arc, the 7 day limit on tabs is a bit short for me.
In Arc there is a way to check auto archived tabs. Is there a way to list these in Dia?

On my 100 Hz external monitor, pages in Dia feel less smooth than in Chrome, mostly scrolling and anything animated. I measured it to check.

**Setup**

- macOS 26.7.1, M1 Pro MacBook Pro, plugged in

- Dia 1.52.0 (Chromium 155.0.8059.40) vs Chrome 155.0.8059.41, fresh profile, default flags

- Dell S3422DW, 3440×1440, set to 100 Hz in System Settings

- Same window size and display, hardware acceleration on

**Result** (blank page running only `requestAnimationFrame`, 7 s)

- Chrome: about 100 frames/s, 10 ms between frames

- Dia: 60 frames/s, 16.7 ms between frames, never faster

A brand-new Dia window with Dia frontmost gives the same 60.

**What I ruled out**

- Low Power Mode is off, and I couldn't find a Battery Saver override

- In Chrome, the `throttle-main-thread-to-60hz` flag, `CATransactionV2` off and the CADisplayLink switches don't reproduce a 60 Hz cap

- I couldn't find a refresh-rate setting in Dia

**Check it yourself:** paste this into the console in both browsers. It logs frames per second after 5 s.

TestUFO's frame-rate test shows the same thing.

Is anyone else on a display above 60 Hz seeing 60 in Dia? And is there a setting or flag I missed?

I don't know if I am stupid or something but I think something is going wrong with Dia. How is this possible that the browser company still has not implemented that feature?

If you don't know what feature I am talking about, it is CMD + T command that you can switch between 2 tabs really quickly.

I know there is a special shortcut to call the "tab switcher", but it's terrible. It doesn't really work well regarding the user experience I was trying to to use it but it's uh...

I keep getting errors and can’t log in. I can’t believe a browser requires you to log in before you can use it.

switched from arc to dia but dia feels so slow on some pages like some kind of performance mode was on, it feels like 30 fps or something while sliding up and down, (macbook pro m3 on latest macos)

As a NON-APPLE user, Dia is almost there...

Just need that tab syncing working and a mobile, app, and then I'd be ready to finally switch off of Arc. Until then, it's still a mix of Arc on Windows, and Zen on Fedora, for me at least.

Can this sign be hidden?

Am I missing something, but where are the shortcut keys listed in Dia for Windows? I cant find out how to switch profiles with keyboard shortcuts or customize the shortcuts. I thought this was out of beta...

In dark mode, selected tabs could have an accent color; it's almost impossible to tell which tab is open when there are many tabs.

The auto-hide sidebar has finally arrived in Dia on Windows – I’m testing it out right now. It needs some work: the tabs I pin to the very top stay there, but after a while they get stuck and don’t respond when I click on them. I know today is the first day and we’re in the early-bird phase, so I’m fully confident they’ll keep improving with future updates. I won’t be switching away from Dia now – this looks promising. Thanks, support team

I’m thinking about switching to Dia from Arc but I’m not clear on what it does with the content of sites I’m logged in to (email, work tools, banking and so on).

I get that if I ask Dia about a page, that page gets sent to an AI model. What I can’t work out is what gets sent by default, without me asking.

For example, does Morning Brief read my Gmail emails to put together the daily summary? If so, does that happen automatically, and does the content go to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)?

The privacy policy and security page don’t quite answer this. Does anyone know how it works, or has anyone had a straight answer from the Dia team?

With Dia 1.52.0, answers start appearing the moment you ask, tabs are easier to keep tidy, and connecting your tools takes less setup.

• Arc-Style Pinned Tabs. Lets members pin tabs outside Favorites or groups, preserving familiar Arc organization and imports.
• Show Selected Tab Overflow Indicator. Shows the active tab's favicon when it scrolls out of view, improving wayfinding.
• Stream the First Chat Answer Block Immediately. Streams the first answer text and thinking delta immediately so members see responses sooner.
• Onboarding: Atlassian First-Party Experience. Signing in with Atlassian Identity auto-connects Dia to Atlassian and streamlines setup across Atlassian properties.
• Ask on Page education: tool tours & queries. Adds sample queries and "tool tour" prompts on sites with connected tools to help members unlock more value.
• Simplify Chat Queueing and Send Now Controls. Makes "Send now" interrupt immediately and clarifies queue/stop controls for easier steering.
