Hiii folks! I'm setting up a desk dedicated to drawing and just starting to learn how to draw. Here's what I've got so far:
-An Artist Ultra 14 pen display
-An HP laptop
-A DELL monitor
-A 3D-printed hand-shaped pen holder
-My beloved Pop Mart figures
-Some lucky bamboo
Any suggestions for arranging everything? Thanks!

Hi all,
Looking for advice. As shown in the picture, I have a weird hybrid setup because I WFH full time and also have a gaming pc setup. They both reside at the same desk because I don’t have a ton of space.
Right now, I use my work laptop with a second monitor for work, and then when the day is done, I close my laptop, switch my mouse usb over to my gaming pc, and pull my keyboard forward. From there I use my gaming pc on a single monitor (the one not in use for my work setup). They’re completely independent setups and I’d like them to be integrated more.
There’s got to be a better way to do this. I’m not super savvy in this, so what do I need to get to integrate both setups? I read about a KVM switch and that seemed like a good option but I’m not really sure how it works and heard there might be a little lag with the mouse and keyboard. My work also gave me a dock which I use to connect my laptop to the monitor and charger if that helps at all.
In an ideal world, I’d love:
- to be able to use both monitors for both gaming and work (as in, not have to work on my laptop)
- be able to swap easily between the two setups without having to physically shift any peripherals
- to be able to keep the laptop off the desk entirely and be able to turn my work setup on/off without opening the laptop (I was thinking one of those under desk shelf things)
- eventually I want to add a sound system that would work for both setups.
Another thing to note is that the monitor I use for my gaming pc has a terrible input swap switch on the back and I hate using it because it’s so sensitive and hard to use. If I could find a way to swap the input without using that, it would be amazing.
Please let me know with any ideas. Thanks!!

Since making my last post seven months ago, I have upgraded almost all aspects of my set-up: new desk, new chair, 3d printed wrist pad elements, tented keyboard, and pomodoro timer. Everything feels super ergonomic and comfortable now!

I'm looking to buy the Ugmonk Gather Pencil Cup Base that has been discontinued by Ugmonk.
Looking for the base only, as I already own the lid.
Please let me know if you have one for sale.
Thanks!

I'm not even 18 so not a lot of freedom but I have 1500 rupees to spend on upgrades.
Does the white keyboard ruin the whole asthetic or is there something that I can do here.
Also can't make holes in the desk but how to manage wires.
Ik I don't have a deskmat and that is what I'm primarily looking for something that looks good
I'm using laptop screen and I have a laptop stand but not a lot of vertical room so laptop won't fit.

I’m at a very transformative point in my life and, long story short, I’ve moved in with my older sister, I’m looking into having a room built in her basement, and (with a lot of help from my incredibly generous friends) I’ve basically made a new pc to replace my dinky ass one I had (with pretty much just the gpu staying intact). It’s like a quarter of a setup, so it could certainly be worse lol. As a 21yo unemployed future college student, we must make do 🫡
Slide one is the master-class setup I managed to put together
Slide two’s stupid ass shows me using wrapping paper and a helmet to temporarily limit dust buildup (basement is currently in desperate need of cleaning) while I wait for a couple more things I need to turn the computer on for the first time.
I’m honestly looking forward to see how my setup looks in a couple years time. I’ll prob keep this sub posted with a before-and-after when I fully actualize my plans :3
As long as I can run Fortnite, I’m good 🙏🙏

Just received my Branch Furniture Office Desk (fixed-height model), but couldn't even finish assembling it. One of the legs has two protruding beads of excess weld metal that prevent it from sliding into its mounting bracket, making the entire desk unusable.
Pretty disappointing quality control from Branch Furniture. This isn't shipping damage or a cosmetic flaw, but a manufacturing defect that should have been caught before the desk left the factory. I've requested an expedited replacement leg but still haven't heard back.
Sharing for anyone considering a Branch desk. In the meantime, I'm stuck staring at a half-assembled desk taking over my floor space.
TL;DR: Two blobs of excess weld metal brought an entire Branch desk assembly to a halt. Now I have a very expensive floor decoration instead of a desk.
