Welcome to Demonolatry Practices! If you're new, click here!

Before we start with the welcome post, I want to mention that this community has a karma and an account age threshold that you must meet in order to participate. There were too many trolls attacking the community with 0 karma, 0 day old accounts, so if you have made a new account just for your spiritual needs, you'll have to grow it a bit to participate here, sorry!

In wise u/ChthonicSage's words once spoken here:

"I've created this place since there's a lack of subreddits for Demonolatry and general Theistic Satanism/other magickal practices. I hope this community grows to become a place where people come to ask questions, share their experiences, and connect with others."

However over the years this sub has grown and those words became not enough to give you a proper introduction. So to begin with, we have a lot of people new to the practice that find us. If you're entirely new, we have some basic resources here.

If you need further help with short, easy to digest tips and guides made "How to sense Spirits 101", "Reaching out to spirits 101", "The consequences to working with demons 101", "I'm dreaming about a demon 101", "Describing spirits 101", "Spiritual stagnation 101", "Blood Magic 101 (warning, 18+ and NSFW)", "Protection magic 101" and their personal sex magick method that may be interesting for those that never tried it to read (18+ and NSFW).

If you are confused about Qlipoth u/pearlbibo made some notes for you here. She also made a post on how not to get ripped off in Occult spaces.

Fellow moderator u/Macross137 has posted another way of interpreting dreams, a basic invocation ritual that you can practice, further occult reading that may prove useful to your practice, how to interpret what is and isn't a sign, how to decide which incense to use for which demon, a guide on HGA work (part 1) and a brief guide to evocation.

The kind of questions that aren't useful to ask on the subreddit (written by u/Vanhaydin) is something that I would recommend everyone taking a look at before interacting here.

If you need a quick primer on what planets what demons are associated with, what would be the appropriate offerings and how to "decode" the rank system, check out their other post about planetary associations here!

On the off-chance that you came here specifically to find information on Lilith, u/Even-Pen7957 runs https://www.libraryoflilith.com/.

VioletSpooder is here to remind you that the popular way of working with spirits on the Internet changes rather rapidly and that you should not over-internalize it too much and to be careful about accidentally finding yourself in a cult. Another good advice from the same user is found in this thread about how to recognise spiritual psychosis.

If you want to make ritual oils, this is a good way to do it (written by u/Available-Shirt7907).

Hope this was helpful! Time to move on to:

Frequently asked questions!

Q: which author is right? Which method is trustworthy? What is it that I must do to contact this particular spirit?

A: most authors will be equally right and wrong, as this is not a science, it is closer to an art. What is right for one person is not necessarily right for another. Keep yourself grounded in reality, question all that you read, don't hold anyone's word as ultimate law and try. See what works for you and what doesn't.

Q: can I practice with the Abrahamic God? With angels and demons at the same time? Can I mix demons with other religions? Can I have a pantheon, or am I supposed to pick one?

A: Being a left hand path practice demonolatry has no certain way that it must be. How you practice is entirely between you and the spirits. So yes. You can mix this practice with any other religion and practice with angels and demons at the same time.

Q: I'm afraid that by working with demons I'll doom myself to hell, or that karma will get me, or similar!

A: everyone's spiritual beliefs are personal. Some subscribe to hell. Some subscribe to karma. Some do not have any such system in their spiritual belief. What you believe is for you to find out and no-one can give you a shortcut here, however if your fear is reaching unhealthy levels, ask yourself if you have religious trauma and if therapy would be a good pathway to resolve that for you.

Q: what is the difference between evocation and invocation?

Originally in occult invocation meant calling the spirit into yourself, into your own mind space, while evocation meant calling the spirit outside of yourself into your space.

Some demonolators say that invocation means making an appeal to the spirit, while evocation means trying to bind a spirit to do your bidding. Under these definitions, evocation would go against demonolatry's principle of working respectfully with the spirit.

Current moderation team does not subscribe to such a divisive notion. Contact your spirits in whatever way that is comfortable to you, it matters not to us if you are a Western tradition Ceremonial magickian, or someone that interacts with the spiritual as a Pagan would. We ask that everyone refrain from taking offence from seeing such words used, no matter the person is practising summoning, or just evoking a spirit into their space. The spirits are above the material and don't necessarily function by the same rules as we do, so there's no reason to believe that anyone out here is harming the spirits by working in a different system than you.

Q: do I have to have an altar? Do I have to give offerings? If so, how often? I don't feel like I'm in a safe environment to do that.

A: this is entirely between you and your spirits. There are no musts. Practice however you like as this is your spiritual practice. Of course if you made a promise to pray every day, you should do so. If you feel like you can't, you should tell the spirit so. Communication is key, but there are no specific expectations of you, so don't place it on yourself prematurely.

Q: how do I dispose of offerings that go off?

A: This question comes up often. Some people, if they're offering food, they'll state to the spirit for how long the offering will be there and then they'll eat the offering themselves in order to not be wasteful. Others will choose an elemental disposal element, meaning that they'll burn (if it is safe to do so, fire safety first!) the offering, liquify it with water, or burry it in the Earth. Some others involve a lot less ceremony in their disposal of the offering and they simply thank the spirit and then throw it away. There are no rules, so don't overstress!

Q: I'm confused by all the terms I'm seeing on this subreddit, help!

A: here, have a little dictionary!

Deity mask - some believe that the same spirit has many names, positions and personalities, so they may refer to each one of such as a mask.

Demonolatry – worship of demons. In practice this is less “worship” and more “working with”. It was a tradition born out of a need of a friendlier way to work with spirits that have been deemed to be demonic. If a practitioner states that they are a demonolater, this may mean that they are following a published author, or simply denote that they have their own practice that involves working with the demonic in some capacity.

Demonology – study of demons, usually from a religious perspective. If you run into this term, it indicates that the person using it is perhaps interested in specific spirits but has never worked with them, or that they are a religious individual that specializes in viewing these spirits from the angle of their religion, which often means viewing these spirits especially negatively. Latter happens more often than former by far.

Demonosophy – young branch that means working with demons, for those that felt like “worship” did not accurately cover what they do. There are not many publications under this specific term, meaning that the most that you will encounter this will be by people introducing themselves as practitioners of this craft. Demonolatry and Demonosophy at this point in time can be used interchangeably as not every demonolater worships the spirits that they work with.

Grounding - this word will mean two things to practitioners – in one version it will mean staying grounded in reality, not running away into your mind and focusing on the mundane as much as you do on the spiritual.

In the other version it is a way to stabilize yourself by getting rid of excess energy, the jitter than you feel after rituals, or bad emotions.

LHP - Left Hand Path. In the West, the left-hand path is considered to be about the elevation and centrality of the self as well as the rejection of religious authority and societal taboos.

The left-hand path focuses on the strength and will of the practitioner. It downplays the need for intercession by any high power although some may believe that a higher power exists. The full idea of the left hand path is to become your own God.

RHP - Right Hand Path - right-handed path practitioners tend to work towards ascending their soul towards ultimate union (or reunion) with the divine source, returning to heaven, allegorically alluded to as restoration or climbing back up the ladder after the "great fall". Right hand practitioners will strive to join the source and will adhere to a system of moral punishment, such as karma, or threefold law.

Both terms as used in the West are the bastardized version of Indian Tantric practices. In reality most practitioners will not fall on either side, though some practices will be categorized as one or the other. For example, Demonolatry is categorized as a Left Hand practice due to its nature of taboo, however a practitioner can have both a strong moral code and be working towards merging into the entity of their choosing, which, as it is not focused on elevating yourself to a divine level, but rather on sacrificing yourself to join an already existing consciousness, would be a right hand path goal.

There are very militant communities that will be highly proud of being just one and not the other to an extreme level, so the basic knowledge of what the terms mean is an absolute necessity, though don't overthink where you fall on the scale as really there is no need.

Tower Moment - "The Tower" is a tarot card that represents "disaster, destruction, upheaval, trauma, sudden change, chaos". When someone is saying that they're having a "Tower" moment, they mean that either their emotional state, spiritual practice, their life, their physical health, something has hit a point of complete chaos, upheaval and disintegration. Tower moments will not necessarily be seen as a negative (up to the person using the phrase) as sometimes we need a shake-up to build better. A bad relationship falling through, or getting fired from a toxic-workplace, for example, could be seen as a Tower moment.

Patron - a spirit, or spirits that the person had made some sort of firm declaration to follow. What this means varies from practitioner to practitioner. For some it means that you're very serious in your practice and have elected to follow this spirit for your whole lifetime no matter what. For others it simply means that this is their main spirit/ spirits that they're working at this time. Almost all practitioners to use the term will not do so lightly and will see it as some sort of commitment. Plenty of practitioners never take a Patron for this exact reason.

Matron - a female Patron spirit. Some will insist that this is incorrect as a Matron is the more passive, supportive of the Patron spirit and will insist on calling their female spirits that they have made some sort of firm declaration to follow as Patrons. Some people will therefore have very strong opinions on this word and some will not.

Magucitis/Magusitis - a particular "disease" that afflicts many practitioners - they at some point either believe that they're better than everyone else or at least attempt to appear that they're better than everyone else. Normally this person will be boasting about how powerful they are, how feared they should be, what lineage or sacred society that they hail from and how much of a right they have to order you around, or to not engage in polite conversation with others by just dismissing all opinions or comments addressed towards them.

UPG - unverified personal gnosis ("gnosis" meaning "knowledge"). Example would be if you received a message from a spirit through dreams, divination, or meditation, that message is UPG. Most practitioners will highly rely on UPG, as most of our interactions with the spirits are personal, but it is important to remember that what you hold as true is not necessarily what someone else will hold as true. Understand that each of you know exactly what you need to know and therefore there's no need to fight over who is right and who is wrong.

VPG - verified personal gnosis. If you have channeled information from a spirit and multiple different people channel the same thing then that is now a belief held by many and not only a few.

Q: I'm just starting my practice, what should I do?

Step one - hone in on practising meditation. You'll need the focus, the patience and the mostly quiet mind to see good results from your practice. Is it a must? No. Nothing in spirituality is a must and there are some people that are working with spirits without a meditative practice, but it is something that's greatly helpful, so this will be the first recommendation that will be given if you ever ask this question.

Step two - sidebar resources! It is suggested that you read them. This one speaks about shadow work, here is some common sense advice on how to conduct yourself in this space and beyond it when speaking to others and lastly, here are the basic resources for those that are new.

Step three - read and gain perspective. Don't ingest any book like it is the only ultimate truth, but read to expand your horizons and try. What should you read? Well, behold, the mighty book list! Though, remember, these are merely suggestions and it is not a requirement to read them all. Simply see if there's anything here you'd like to read, because they're all good books.

THE MIGHTY BOOK LIST:

CLASSIC GRIMOIRES (these are good to read through to see the working with demons through a historical lens. Some people still use methods in these books, most new books will at the very least borrow elements, such as names, sigils and correspondences):

The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage

Heptameron by Pietro d'Abano

The Greater Key of Solomon

The Lesser Key of Solomon aka Lemegeton (Recommended: Peterson ed. or Skinner/Rankine Goetia of Dr. Rudd)

Grimorium Verum (Recommended: Peterson ed. or JSK's True Grimoire)

The Grand Grimoire aka Red Dragon

DEMONOLOGICAL REFERENCE BOOKS:

The Dictionary of Demons: Expanded and Revised: Names of the Damned by Michelle Belanger

Lucifer: Princeps by Peter Grey

Secrets of the Magickal Grimoires: The Classical Texts of Magick Deciphered by Aaron Leitch

Pandemonium: A Discordant Concordance of Diverse Spirit Catalogues by Jake Stratton-Kent

Stellas Daemonum by David Crowhurst

Demonolator's Handbook by Mirta Wake

MODERN GUIDES TO MAGIC AND SPIRIT WORK:

Chicken Qabalah by Lon Milo Duquette

SSOTBME Revised by Ramsey Dukes

Liber Null and Psychonaut by Peter J. Carroll

Consorting with Spirits: Your Guide to Working with Invisible Allies by Jason Miller

Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn

Summoning Spirits: The Art of Magical Evocation by Konstantinos

Worshipping Demons 101 by Mirta Wake

GENERAL OCCULT/MAGIC BACKGROUND:

The Egyptian Book of the Dead

The Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy by Pseudo-Agrippa

Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer

Transcendental Magic by Eliphas Levi

Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon

TECHNICAL/THEORETICAL WORKS (books to do with evocation, Qliphoth, and other intermediate practices that did not fit anywhere else):

The Practice of Magical Evocation by Franz Bardon

Lake of Fire by S. Connolly

Tree of Qliphoth by Asenath Mason

Qabalah, Qliphoth, and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson

POPULAR CONTEMPORARY SYSTEMS (each one of these books will have wildly different approaches. Try them, see what works for you and what doesn't. Beware of authors treating their UPG and personal dogma as objective truths):

The Complete Book of Demonolatry by S. Connolly

Lucifer and The Hidden Demons: A Practical Grimoire from The Order of Unveiled Faces by Theodore Rose

Demons of Magick: Three Practical Rituals for Working with The 72 Demons by Gordon Winterfield

Last bit of advice - when posting here, provide as much details as possible. If you want someone to identify a sigil for you, it will be helpful to state where you found it, if you want someone to help with communication with the spirits, state what method you're using as it will be most helpful if someone with the same method answers.

And this is where the post will leave off. I hope it was useful and cleared some basic questions up. Before you post anything on this subreddit make sure to look at the side-bar and familiarize yourself with the rules. Otherwise this place is happy to see you here and post away!

Discussions Weekly discussion - your experiences with Patronage

Considering the amount of new people that float through the space, I thought that it would be fun to have a topic where one that has been practising for a while express their experiences with having a Patron (using this as a gender neutral term, as some people don't agree that Matron serves the exact same purpose).

So why did you pick the Patron that you picked?
How was your journey so far with having a Patron?
What purpose does the Patron serve in your personal spirituality?

Alternatively, if you are practising without having a Patron in your personal system of belief, why did you find such approach to be more beneficial to you?

Discussions When did you realize that demonolatry was YOUR path to take? How did it feel to you?

Hi, all!

I've frequently visited/lurked on this subreddit for some time. I've loved looking at everyone's experiences but finally am ready to talk about my own and hopefully hear more about yours as well (:

I had a dream from King Paimon some time ago, and when I finally reached out a sense of... inevitability had come over me? Something like coming home, and an intense certainty that I would always end up at this path. I've never felt this sort of certainty before in my life except for the briefest moment where I got to spend some time playing around in my desired career field– it's been so unsettling in its intensity and certainty that I can hardly sit with it (in the most positive way).

What did your path look like, start to now? How are you feeling vs when you started? Are there any tips you'd give for someone like me?

Thank you guys! Look forward to hearing from you!

Experiences and Ritual reports Hail and praise to the great Prince Orobas!

Hail and praise to the great Prince Orobas!

I recently called upon him to find a very specific job or volunteer opportunity that would allow me to use my skills. I asked him to do this with within two days. A little less than forty-eight hours later I got an email from an organization I had passed a resume to some weeks earlier asking if I wanted to volunteer for exactly the sort of thing I wanted.

Honestly, this was remarkable. It’s one of those things that makes you go “Oh, this stuff is real”.

I highly recommend working with Prince Orobas for acquiring positions to advance yourself and all other things he is known for!

Hail to the great Prince Orobas, who comes in the form of a horse,
Whose whinny shakes the world!

Hail to he who reveals all things,
Past, present and future!

Hail to he who tells the mysteries of Divinity,
And the secrets of the creation of the World!

Hail to he who gives honors and dignities,
And the favor of friends and foes!

Hail to the great and noble
Prince Orobas,
Lord of Knowledge and Honors!

Experiences and Ritual reports What comes after a petition

I just gave a petition to Asmodeus. Been thinking about it and planning for it for few days now.

What do you do afterwards? Do you change anything in your life or in your rituals/practice or just go about it? Do you ask the demon about it? Or use divination? How do you know if it is accepted?

I burned the petition paper -i rely on fire for most of my work- and the paper flew away from the fire bowl i use and landed on the floor, burned in a shape. I'm not sure if it has any meaning either. Idk if it'd be "too much" or even allowed to ask for wax/ashes interpretation here so I won't.

A very unrelated question: do you read the candle/wax from rituals with your demons? I do see some shapes here and there from the dripping of the candle but i never was able to interpret candles anyway. But what about when it comes to demons?

Altars, tools and workspaces Small, temporary altar for Seere

Post image
44 Upvotes

Gifts offered to Seere on the altar: fresh orange, fresh apple, fresh water scented with lavender oil, and a perfect Black Phoebe or possibly Dark-Eyed Junco (in the rear jar).

I believe the bird was actually a gift from Seere himself, who seemed to have been rushing and hurrying me along to begin the ritual, and guiding me to the correct appointed hour (the time I had chosen turned out to have a fatal error and I thank Seere for steering me in the right direction).

In providing me with the bird, Seere gave me the centerpiece needed for the Altar of the Working and prevented further delays, as I would not have started without said piece.

The results of the Working began to appear within *hours*.

Hail Seere

Thank you for your wise and benevolent guidance.

Praise Seere

Thank you for moving my hand swiftly.

Hail Seere

Thank you for preventing me from miring myself in the whether-to's and why-for's, when the time for action was nigh already.

Praise Seere

Thank you for displaying unmistakable presence and enthusiasm for the Work.

Hail Seere

Thank you for volunteering your presence and guidance before I called

Praise Seere

The swift and mighty Prince.

Practical Questions Which demon to help me get proper care/help/accomodations so I can leave my abusive household faster?

Hi yes I know, I have checked out resources from my city and local state, I am also actively looking for jobs, but it is not easy and the shelters here I have to be very careful of since they are often unsafe. So before you say any of those recommendations, trust me I have looked, but I just really hate how unhelpful the system that is supposed to help people like me get out of unsafe and toxic households doesn't actually do anything unless you are about to be plunged to death by your abuser. Anyways, sorry I don't wanna get off topic. I can't afford to get a proper diagnosis and disabilities takes way too long to get that I don't have time to wait for, in which not even sure if I would be able to obtain any benefits. I need a demon to help me because I have a hard time mentally and physically to go to work and keep jobs that i need to keep so I can get out of my emotionally abusive family. I was thinking of asking Lilith or Medusa because I have some familiar connection to them, but to be honest I am not too sure. I just feel so vulnerable too, and never have felt this demoralized. I used to live so privilegedly that I never ever thought it would come to a day that I might have nothing

I had petitioned and asked Bune to help me find a good career path or career for me, to get me out of here, but it seems like they want to take the jog rather than a marathon with me. Don't know what to do. If any of you have any practical advice and or demon to help me, and if I should ask lilith/medusa, I would be greatful. Please and thank you

Experiences and Ritual reports Public praise for prince seere

It's always been a dream to work abroad and also work remotely. I did a ritual to get a remote job and I did lots of applicantions online with no response until one day I got a rejection, but for me, I didn't take it as a rejection, I took it as a redirection and so I adjusted my resume and began applying other jobs on site and mostly targeted abroad jobs, and yesterday I did like 10 applications and the same day an employer reached out, interviewed me the same day and offered me a job. I want to thank prince seere for delivering what I asked for. He did a really great job, the interview was so smooth and the employer had was kind and honest. Thank you prince seere. Ave prince seere.

Experiences and Ritual reports Pluto Retrograde & how it's affected my practice

I explicitly did not believe that retrogrades directly affect most of my work until this season. My Pluto is in Sagittarius, the other person in Scorpio.

Looking back at May until this October (duration of pluto rx), what came through in my life is the one thing I asked Lord Rosier. The person I manifested has been doing more, we've dated, and things were going steady.

Until the last 5 weeks. We've hit a comically routine argument that happens at the dawn of every Wednesday (Mercury), and it's usually about him asking me more deeply personal questions that I've expressed to be uncomfortable. Swear it's like a weekly dejavu?

Everything else has been sweet and steady. Until the last day before the retrograde ends. Same conflict. I just lost it and said I'll keep quiet for now. I also lost the desire to care for this person, the very person and scenario I asked of Rosier. We havent spoken in days.

So pluto retrograde ended yesterday. I don't feel as much drawn to my working. Just blank.

As a devotee to Rosier, every Friday, I plan to do something. A little ritual, some offering. Except today. Tarot cards advised me to go Hermit, 8 of swords.

___

After some quick research, I saw how it could possibly make sense.

Leo Ascendant (Rising) | Sagittarius Sun

Because Pluto retrogrades in early Aquarius, it directly impacts my 7th House of Relationships and Partnerships.

Cancer Ascendant (Rising) | Sagittarius Sun

For my partner, Pluto retrogrades through their 8th House of Shared Resources, Intimacy, and Deep Transformation.

No wonder the "uncomfortable" digging for answers. I felt like someone was picking at my scabs. Transformative? Yes, but it's been exhausting for both of us.

Practical Questions What is your favourite way of meditating?

Hello!

How do you all typically meditate?

Do you chant the enn, look at the sigil, use guided meditations, either general meditations or specific to the spirits you're working with? A bit of everything?

-Was able to collect a few things the last couple days including my knife that was missing so I decided to incorporate them into my usually artform.

-"You scattered the darkness that lay before your eyes, and flapping your wings you whirled about and throughout this world you brought pure light.

Great embodiment of chaos, hear me, for ages untold I studied your ways, devoting my existence to you. I strove to be your vassal on the physical plane, to build mountains of bodies in your honour, to extinguish all life, and in my universe this I achieved.

But it gave me no satisfaction, in succeeding I lost all purpose. Why? Why must this be?" -Lich

Discussions uma pergunta, vinda de um iniciante

Well, I’ve genuinely become fascinated by daimons and Solomonic Goetia in every possible way. I find the practice and everything about high magick absolutely beautiful. In fact, while I was reading the book and taking notes, I felt some incredibly strong, almost magical energies that made me want to dive deeper and deeper into studying and practicing it.
At the same time, though, I came across accounts from some magicians who claimed that Goetia humiliates the daimons and that they eventually “make you pay the price” for it.
What are your thoughts on this?

Practical Questions A question about reusing sigils for meditation

Hi everyone!

I have a little technical question about using sigils for meditation.

Do you usually draw them each time and then burn or discard them afterward? Or is it perfectly fine to keep them and reuse them for future meditation sessions?

(Or is there a third option: both approaches are equally valid, and it's simply a matter of personal preference?).

The ones I've drawn turned out quite nice, and they took a fair amount of time and effort to make! 🫠 So I've been keeping them tucked away in my books.

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!

I'd love to hear how you all approach this. 😊

Discussions Christians trying to make me fear Lucifer backfired

Hey, everyone. I don’t know if this is allowed, but I wanted to share a funny story about how the anti-Lucifer indoctrination failed on me 😊 I’ll remove the post if it‘s not allowed.

Since most of my family is catholic, I was raised to fear demons and to think of them as evil. I was 8 years old when I decided I was an atheist just like my dad.

While I didn’t believe in anything, I still had a certain fear of demons and the possibility of a hell, but I recently lost the last bit of that fear 😎

The thing is, the way christians talk about Lucifer made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to fear him 😭

The funniest incident happened in a literature class taught by an evangelical teacher, who, in order to explain why Lucifer was deceitful and evil, began to talk about how he used to be an angel, therefore he was a beautiful, charming, soft-spoken, well-dressed man.

My 15 year old self was NOT scared 😭

Every time christians try to talk about Lucifer, they can’t stop talking about how hot and tempting he is 😭 bro, are you sure YOU don’t like him?

Since they also like to blame good music, yoga, healthy relationships, vaccines, and not thinking humans are the center of the universe on ’The Devil (tm)‘, uh… I think I prefer to join his team then? He seems nice?

In the end, the most satanic panic fanatics are usually the best marketing for the demons.

Dreams I dreamed of several of the Seven Deadly Sins after quietly asking if anyone could hear me — could it mean anything? NSFW

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to exploring theistic Satanism and demonolatry, and I’d really appreciate some perspectives from more experienced practitioners.

On October 14, I quietly spoke to the spiritual beings I believe in. I didn’t perform a ritual, chant any enns, make offerings, or attempt an invocation.

I simply asked whether anyone could hear me.

I spoke honestly about my personal struggles, my difficulty with motivation, my mistakes, and my desire to become stronger, more independent, and more truthful with myself. I wasn’t asking for money, love, power, or material success. I was seeking guidance and emotional strength.

The only other remotely spiritual activity I had done was making a small clay figure representing one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Then, on the morning of October 15, I had an incredibly vivid and elaborate dream.

Several figures appeared whom I recognized as demons associated with the Seven Deadly Sins.

I’m certain about Belphegor, Asmodeus, Lucifer, and Mammon. I also remember having the impression that Leviathan was present, although I can’t recall his specific role. There may have been others.

What surprised me most was that I wasn’t afraid of them at all.

They were extremely powerful, dominant figures, yet I felt completely safe and protected in their presence.

One particularly intense scene involved Asmodeus physically threatening and choking a former friend I’ve lost contact with. She accused him of behaving differently around me, and I remember him warning her to stay away.

Even during that scene, I didn’t feel threatened myself. Instead, I experienced a strong sense of being protected.

Later, we attended a large celebration near my home, which I had apparently helped organize. The event was extremely successful and attracted a huge crowd.

Afterward, we left together in a car.

Mammon was driving. I remember sitting on Belphegor’s lap before being moved to Asmodeus and then Lucifer.

There was also an intimate, sexual element to this part of the dream. Despite its intense and dominant nature, I remember feeling unusually safe, accepted, and cared for.

At one point, we stopped at a gas station so I could wash up, and Belphegor accompanied me. I remember his presence very clearly.

My personal interpretation

I’ve been thinking a lot about my past lately, especially old relationships, personal mistakes, and the kind of person I want to become.

To me, the confrontation with my former friend felt like a symbolic separation from the past.

The successful event near my home represented something familiar and safe, while the car journey afterward felt like moving forward into a new chapter of my life.

What stayed with me most wasn’t the appearance of the demons themselves, but the overwhelming feeling of protection, trust, and being able to let go of some control without fear.

Here’s what I’m wondering:

I hadn’t performed an invocation or any formal magical practice. I had only made a clay figure and quietly asked whether anyone was listening.

Could a dream like this have spiritual significance within demonolatry, even without an actual ritual?

Has anyone experienced dreams involving multiple demons before beginning formal practice?

And how do you personally distinguish between a meaningful spiritual experience and a dream shaped by your subconscious mind?

I’m aware that I’ve been interested in demonology and the Seven Deadly Sins recently, so I understand that my imagination could have influenced the dream. I’m not treating it as proof of contact.

I’d genuinely appreciate thoughtful interpretations, including more skeptical ones.

Thank you for reading!

Practical Questions Emotions during rituals

How do i stop engaging my emotions/feelings/weaknesses during rituals with demons? I thought it would be a one time thing but it's repeating itself.

Few months ago i was working with bune. And few times during rituals with them I'd cry while talking about stuff. Then during my first ritual with Belial i was talking and i was seething and shaking with anger. Now i just finished my 3rd -or 4th, not sure- ritual with Asmodeus and i started talking and talking then i started crying, ugly crying.

And it's embarrassing, and pointless. Am i really inviting strong, demon kings and dukes just to cry and have my emotions get in the way? That's not the goal. And i kind of think it's not very polite or respectful either. But I'm not sure of that part.

I am very emotional in life generally. I have major anger issues, rage episodes and cry often -why i got fired from my last job- but i should keep a leash on it for the ritual at least.

Any insights? Tips? Things to do to help the situation so it doesn't happen again?

Ive noticed that I'm wanting to be more independent (I have horrible separation anxiety) but I'm extremely eager to be on my own

Ive also learned it's totally ok to defend yourself no matter if the person is upset with you or not

And I've also learned it's ok to express your feelings as well I usually hide mine a lot but I've learned it's ok if I need to let the tears flow
