I relate to this so much. Especially about the time slowing down and no longer planning. Now that time passes slower, I feel like I'm way more equipped to handle things as they come. I'm no longer preparing to catch everything as it flies by me. I was so shocked by this change and it made me euphoric.

Also, the writing. I'm not back to writing just yet (I have 5 years worth of OCD to sort through first) but I'm way less prone to jump from thing to thing. And, when I do, I actually feel I have enough time to spend on each idea, rather than jumping from one to the other before I even get a chance to think about it. It's crazy how different things are.

Ugh, I had to quit for medical reasons too. I'm sorry, it sucks and it's really hard.

The first time I ate a CBD chocolate bar, I couldn't focus on anything at all, I went on Tik tok, and absolutely every single video started to drive me crazy, I don't even understand what caused this reaction

We already know that tea is tea, but there are different types. Do you think it’s just a matter of marketing and that all teas are the same?

Given your current intake, it's best not to quit cold turkey, judging on my experience with constant headaches, it's the best to cut out everything else and stick to just strong tea or 2 cups of coffee a day, just to prevent blood pressure from dropping

Don't cold turkey 400 mg a day. Wean off it less and less then quit

will echo the rest, energy drinks and preworkout are very different from green tea or coffee. You might find it more manageable to go with a gradual process. 1st week, switch to coffee. 2nd week, 1 less coffee per day, etc.

I'm waiting for the time when everyone will realize that tea is tea, it's just one plant, even if it's red, black, white or any other color

All things being equal a cup of tea has about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee.

Obviously this is more complicated than a simple caffeine addiction. Though caffeine is probably doing you no favors and covering up other problems.

You’re far more likely to die from lightning than caffeine. Dying from caffeine is extremely rare. The girl you mentioned had two underlying cardiovascular health conditions.

The time thing shocked me too. My life is so slow now and I LOVE IT.

I wasn’t having any caffeine and I was feeling really down (I take that damn Xanax at night, too), so I decided to have a mug of tea. It’s not that much, I think, right?

Coffee used to make me feel extremely alert, with my eyes wide open.

I agree. Coffee used to make me angry and aggressive.

Taper yourself off my friend, you'll be aight. There's some folks in here that drink over 1 gram of caffeine a day or more.

Try out drinking some tea for a while and ween yourself off over the next couple of weeks. Or go cold turkey when you have 1-2 weeks of not much going on. You'll be ok. Gonna suck but you'll be aight!

If you aren’t working just quit. If not go ahead and switch to tea or coffee first. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel after you do this, you’d probably spend an obscene amount of time sleeping but it’s 100% worth it. That’s heavy use but not the craziest in the world.

First 2 paragraphs are non-arguments.

3rd ignores that caffeine has a half life of 6-8 hours and therefore is still in your system up to 25% even if you sleep 16 hours after drinking it. It still severely impacts REM sleep at that level. One cup of coffee 16 hours before bed is like drinking a cup of green tea right before bed, and most people are drinking it much closer to bed than 16 hours.

Drinking too close to wake has its own host of issues related to cortisol response anyway and causes a crash when your nonflushed adenosine all hits you later that day.

Last paragraph is just wrong, pointing out that its a pesticide (used to kill bugs) is not an appeal to nature fallacy. Look up what that fallacy is before name-dropping it.

I get the impression you think you're some kind of great debater, but you could use practice. I'm here for discussion, not debate anyway.
