Discussion 💭🗯️ Musicians whose careers stalled after Covid

Post image

Camila Cabello was huge 2017-2019, but her popularity really dwindled post Covid. What other musicians were popular in the 2010s but fizzled after 2020s?

I feel like in 2017 she was one of those artists that was ubiquitous on paper but no one actually talked about

Like you’d hear her at the airport or the grocery store but you’d never hear someone say “Yo someone put on that new Alessia Cara!!”

I loved her music back in the day. Had her album on repeat. She has a couple more jazzy versions of her big hits that really demonstrate her vocal prowess.

She did a Pepsi ad and made a song for it.. and yes, it's literally like "and now the new Alessia Cara!!" like... we were barely asking for that in 2016, let alone a decade later.
