Locals Discussion Interstate relocations?

After suggestions for removalists or similar to move a household back to the east coast

Have an unwell family member I am needing to support so regrettably seems like the end of my Darwin time

I know Kent are usually ridiculously expensive but beyond that no idea

You might find the cost of moving furniture, appliances, etc more that they are worth.

If so, and you end up moving only personal items, something like Pack n Send might fit the bill.

Yeah this is slimming a 3 bedroom down into only the sentimental family owned furniture etc

Second this. And try to sell all of the unnecessary ones.

Time your move, moving from late November till early February is the removals busy season and removal costs are at a premium.

You can also just car hire a van and do the drive yourself (preferably with others to prevent fatigué) expensive to drive down yes but much cheaper then hiring a company

Tbh sort of leaving towards buying a van as I imagine the excess KMs on a rental would add up quick

U pack it by northline is who we used. If you are able to physically pack a container. They provide it and move it for you. You will have to unpack when it arrives.
