Hey guys!
After an absence from my duties on this subreddit due to things beyond my control, I am ready to come back and bring this sub from the dead.
The way things were before is that I would post a selection of [in progress] d100 lists, and when people would comment ideas, I would assign them a number a compile them. I would then post the list onto the Dndspeak website to archive it. I would add features like adding a button that selects one of the entries for you.
A user voiced their opinion to me that they don't want their list posted to the website and called me a content farmer. I understand where they are coming from, and want to be as transparent about the process as possible so we can discuss the future of this subreddit and how things will go moving forward.
The *only* money that I get from the website is from the single page ads. I do sell PDFs, but those PDFs are from lists that I created on my own. Anything that was built by the community is 100% free, all the time, no matter what. I pay the hosting and domain fees out of my pocket, and the ad revenue helps with that, but does not cover it entirely.
How would you like the future of this subreddit to go? Are you okay with me posting the edited, compiled list to the website (while adding 100% credit and a source link back to the reddit page from here on out), or would you like me to avoid archiving them all together and leaving them off the website?
I would love to hear your feedback and know how I can make things better. Please let me know!
Thank you all! Glad to be back and very happy to get those creative juices flowing again.
