My legit first response was thinking the mom went on his phone and somehow transferred them over not that he was texting with his mom the entire time. It took a moment to get to that point

Mine was that he had somehow mistakenly sent the last ones to his mom after she died instead of the girl he intended to, but that wasn't cursed enough so I reread it.

I think most people who didn't have really bad parents would likely try to figure this out in a slightly different solution before coming to the correct conclusion but maybe I'm just very naive

Thank you! It didn't look right, but ugh, english has words and spellings that sometimes don't make sense (to me at least). Once I get it alllll figured out, it'll be time to go in the ground 😂
