Playing on dust 2 and for maybe 6 rounds I got a wall bang thru mid with scout. Then I got a vac cooldown for 20 hrs. Been playing for 10 years that’s never happened. Can I report this?

This new system is so flawed. 10+ years on this game most of which on Dust 2.

Might as well not scout at all, skill ceiling for that weapon is above what CS2 expects to be possible without cheating I guess.

Some stuff I haven't heard or seen anyone talking about, is the skins for the M14. This will be the first weapon released where skins for it will not be in a case. This means that 100% of the skins will either be from a terminal or from the armory. This also means for both, that the M14 will be the first weapon where Valve has complete control over the weapons market.

A similar thing could have happened when the R8 came out, but the circumstances werent the same. I mention the R8 not the Mp5 for a reason. The M14, mark my words, will be EXTREMELY OP to flood people wanting skins for the weapon. And since Valve can align the initial value to the weapon, they can choose what the weapons rarity is worth.

For those who dont understand the difference between a new skin for any other weapon vs one that hasn't had any assignment under cases and such let me briefly explain. Think about the Mac 10 or Negev, the reds for it (despite the little outliers) are most all under $50-100 vs AK and AWP reds that tend to be battlescared for $50 and go way up to the hundreds. Yes, you can argue that the more used weapons get higher priced reds, but the M14 is the only non referenced weapon. It has no category yet as its a different weapon type. Instead of player previous determining value based on 3 things (usage of weapon, float, and rarity) its now officially determined by Valve. In other words, the AWP, AK, M4, etc had predefined base lines the player created, now its valve.

I was actually enjoying CS again because of the cheater exodus. My first cooldown was because of me using a VPN that kept disconnecting. I was trying to get around the Vietnam steam block.

This one is different though something along the lines of "irregular gameplay".

It's the second fucking time I receive this this week. I don't have any program or cheat and I never did. My friends and I are fucking bad and we keep receiving this fucking vac ban. Why?? I tried send a ticket but steam didn't even answered, they just closed the case as soon as I sent the message. Are this normal? I have no idea for what reason I keep receiving this. Is there any solution? Anyone has been receiving this erroneously?

I’ve been playing Counter-Strike for over 10 years.
Throughout those years, I’ve played against countless cheaters. I’ve lost games to them, wasted hours of my life dealing with them, and had the fun completely sucked out of a game I’ve loved for over a decade. And the worst part? Most of those cheaters never even got VAC banned.
In all those years, I’ve NEVER cheated. Not once. I’ve never downloaded cheats, never looked into getting them, and never even entertained the thought of using them.
And now, after putting up with actual cheaters for over a decade, I’m the one getting punished?
First, I get a 20-hour cooldown, and now I get a 7-day cooldown, apparently for hitting wallbangs with a Scout.
Seriously, what the fuck?
I spend years playing against people who are blatantly cheating and getting away with it, only for Valve’s new anti-cheat system to punish me for actually hitting my shots?
It’s genuinely insane to me how a company can keep finding new ways to ruin the experience for people who genuinely love their game.
I’ve stuck with Counter-Strike through all its problems, all the cheaters, all the frustrating matches, because at the end of the day, I love the game.
But now I have to worry about getting punished for playing well? For hitting a lucky wallbang? For doing something that’s literally part of the game?
How is it that actual cheaters can ruin matches for years, but legitimate players have to worry about getting banned for hitting good shots?

Well, here's another "im legit and i play scout and i got banned!" post. Now my cooldown has went from 20 hours to 7 days. and to anyone who wants to just accuse me of cheating and call it a day, please, be my guest. Show me where I'm cheating.

Below is EVERY match i played today, including the game where i got a VACNet cooldown. If you really just want to write this off as cheating, please, show me where.

1500+ hours, 12 year old account, been playing csgo since 2017, and I'm just at a loss. i play other FPS games, i play rhythm games because reaction time is something i pride myself on, as sniping is a common denominator in any fps game i play. Never once has it been an issue until this VACNet update. I know its doing wonders for real cheaters and hackers out there, but as someone who recently got back into the game. It's just a huge slap in the face to play well and to be punished. And hell, I'm not even top fragging in any of these! This is me casually playing scout and awp the way i always do. Playing the game like I always have. I've already submitted a help ticket and sent an email with the date and my profile link. I doubt anything will change. but god, it is so frustrating to be shot down by a game I actually want to play.

I am excited to play premiere without the worry of cheaters, but with how these comp games are going, I doubt I'll ever get the chance.

False positives are possible. VACNet is not infallible, and a cooldown shouldn't automatically make someone's account of what happened worthless.

I want cheaters gone just as much as everyone else does. I just don't want legitimate players caught in the process to be dismissed without anyone even looking at the evidence.

The CS community needs to stop acting like this is impossible, its happened in the past and here it is happening again. Sure its part of VACNet getting better but the swarms of hate and people losing all credibility when they say they got a VACNet cooldown is insane. Be better.

Been using skin club for a couple weeks. The cases are pretty alright, made about 300 on top of the 2000 I’ve deposited. The upgrader seems beyond rigged tho. 9 losses in a row at 65% success rate. Ever since the infamous egg update, me and the group of friends I regularly play with have gotten banned 2 times, the first one was a little after the update, and second one was today. Both bans were directed towards the same friend, who is also statistically the worst one of all the friends.

Before you all start screaming that he's a cheater, let me post my profile, his profile, and the demo of the match in which the last ban happened (the first one is too old and the scrimmage demo got deleted, but I can post the scoreboard). The only explanation I have of why he would get banned is because he has a weird bot-like movement combined with his low fps (he plays on a laptop with an integrated GPU), which might trigger the VACnet for some weird reason.

Since its not me who caused the ban but a friend, there's not a sure way of proving that he's not cheating other than me telling you that he's not. There's no reason for a guy with a laptop that outputs 30 fps to closet cheat (which is the only realistical cheat he can have because there's no obvious cheating going on) when he can barely get more than 5-6 kills in a match (at least with me).

I'll leave links below with all the proof I can think of, so please at least check everything before you jump to conclusions. I seriously believe VACnet is just false flagging him for some weird reason because of their weird AI system or something.

My friend I play with has been targeted by vacnet twice in the last week, both times just using scout on dust II, subsequently I have now have a 7 day cooldown. He doesn't cheat and is not even hitting super crazy shots. The last game he got only 3 kills and at around round 12 it triggered vacnet. I have seen people saying that network spikes can make you a target so possibly that on top of using the scout I am not sure. I haven't bought the scout at all just because of this. Thoughts?

Alright, so at first I didn't think that could happen to a legit player either, but turns out it can.

I just played a normal mm on Inferno, ngl went pretty good, had good stats.
I didn't use any external/internal software to inflate with my gameplay, I even have FaceIT AC running in the background.

After all that I still got a cooldown for irregular gameplay, appealed it now.
If you get a cooldown you can appeal it at csgoteamfeedback at valvesoftware dot com.

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming keyboard, mainly for competitive CS2.

I currently have a Logitech G PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED, but I want something better, preferably with magnetic switches, Rapid Trigger, and really low latency.

I was originally planning to buy the Wooting 60HE v2, but I just found out it's wired only, which is honestly a huge dealbreaker for me. I really don't want to go back to having cables on my desk.

I'm looking for something wireless (2.4GHz), preferably 60% or 65%, since I love compact keyboards.

Budget isn't an issue. I just want the best possible wireless keyboard for competitive gaming.

I've been looking at the SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless and a few others, but I'm not sure what's actually worth buying.

What would you guys recommend? Especially interested in hearing from people who have actually used these keyboards.
