As he unhorsed the Mallister Lord Theodore turned his horse around, a little shocked at the whole affair. He had arrived on the field not expecting to make it much beyond the second round.

But as he moved up the tilts and ranks, reaching the quarters, then the semi finals. And then finally the tilts against the second best at this tourney. He started believing it.

And that belief paid off as the flower crown was placed upon his lance. He turned the corner toward his wife.
