The amount of people silent during that was disappointing. Not even one "STFU and GTFO, lady!"

I like how she thinks she's the only cHriSiTiAn on the plane.

At the end, she totally turned the camera off and went full-Karen, didn't she?

I like that the FA was nudging her bag because the crybaby faux-Christian kept stopping to talk to her phone like a child.

In defense of the other people.... it seems the matter was being handled by the airline employee, why antagonize the situation. Me, I am sure I would just want to be getting to where I am going without risking getting myself thrown off if maga christian karen decides to fly into a rage and start a fist fight because I tell her to just fuck off the flight. Now, if cops came and needed a witness to support the employee? Damn right I'd speak up.

Not everything has to be a full on yelling screaming confrontation, hell that's what this person wants.... "see, look at all these demonic people speaking in tongues against the word of Jeebus!?!!!"

Case in point, they make themselves look looney. The crew did her a solid by politely asking her to step off the plane with a reasonable reason. Thats it. Privately no embarrassment. She herself went off the rails trying to instigate a riot.

You also prolong interaction by bothering to debate or argue with the person.

A person like that isn't going to listen to reason or care that no one else wants to hear them and wants them to sit down and shut up.

It's better to just ignore it until it goes away & let the airline handle it.

Arguing with her is pointless. All it's going to do is make her turn and cluck at you at high volume.

I would just want her the fuck off my flight so we can get in the damn air ASAP. She's already taken more of time than she deserves.

You can't use logic to convince something out of a point they believe with zero logic. There is absolutely NO WAY you could get through that thick head of hers. She's literally trying to create a scene. You trying to talk her down is just one more opportunity for her to create a scene. Better to not engage.

They likely don't want the attention of the woman recording everything and risking public backlash or getting kicked off the plane themselves. I always want to see someone respond, and I have ideas for how I'd like to respond, but I don't know if I'd actually do it. Maybe if we were already in the air?

I don't think it would have been a good idea. This lady is experienced in this game, if you start getting into it with her she will anchor her attention on you and put you in her video, while pressuring the staff to throw you off the plane as well. There's no point in escalating things.

I would in a normal situation but on airplanes, you don’t wanna do anything to antagonize or mess with FA procedures. Or at least that’s how I’d think of it. And tbh, I don’t wanna end up on her silly broadcast either 😖

I'd have trouble sitting silently and listening to that as well. But the crew is getting her off and they don't want distractions that might delay her departure.. What they're doing was working. As she exit, a loud uproar of applause (audible to her) would be the best response.

Yell "STFU" and then she'll just preach/yell/argue back and that's another five minutes. Maybe she'll dig her heels in and refuse to leave. Then everyone would have to deboard, maybe a cancelled flight.

People like this want someone to yell at them. That will just reinforce the idea that Satan is against them and that they need to save everyone else. Silence is probably the best response to these idiots.

Because they can all tell that that is the exact reaction she is looking and hoping for so she can act like a poor persecuted victim. Why give her the attention she craves? Just ignore her ass and give her the silent treatment while she gets booted off the plane, it makes her look even crazier.

No idea where this is, but I can guarantee you it wasnt in a NYC area airport. Try that shit at Newark Airport and someone is going to duct tape your mouth closed and stuff you into a overhead bin. I fly through there a few times a month, and no one has patience for this type of shit.
