Yeah no dude, this is fully assault and harassment and throwing a single punch to get her off your car is a 100% reasonable response.

If you feel that this is wrong I would imagine that you just let people do whayever they want to you and yours.

They're in a custody battle, he needs to do everything he can to make himself look more controlled and sane than her. Punching her in the face, even though it may feel justified, does not help him. The fact that he can show this video as evidence of his restraint and her craziness is going to do him much more good than any punch to her face ever could.
