Yes, honestly. There is no harmonious coparenting with someone like this and unless they are completely no contact. The toxicity is going to affect new partners. Sorry to him but the only sensible thing to do is to stay single until he has gotten full custody and moved to a different area and gone no contact.

Being with someone with a crazy ex is a nightmare. Being with someone who has kids with that crazy ex is even worse because there’s no hope of them going away. You’re with them, you’re also with their ex.
