Maybe they’re acting weird bc ur blatantly video recording them

You’re telling me you would act like that if you someone recording you?

4

u/LilDingalang 2d ago

Look at the camera trying to figure out if and why I’m being filmed? Yeah sounds exactly like what anyone would do right?

4

u/Thatonlyguy988 2d ago

Except that’s not what 95% of the people in these clips were doing

u/LilDingalang 2d ago

Yeah it is?

u/Thatonlyguy988 2d ago

So you’d try to get closer to a girl or do weird ass tongue movements?

u/LilDingalang 2d ago

There’s one or two at least that are def weird but the majority seem like they’re just reacting to being filmed. Creepy shit def happens but this narrative on this clipped video seems like disingenuous content creation to me personally.

Seems to me like you’re just trying to avoid recognizing how bad it is for women out here

I’m talking about the clip and only the clip so make whatever assumption you want

My problem with your point of view is that you’re not taking into account why they might be recording in the first place. Women wouldn’t be recording men for no reason other than they don’t feel safe. Yea there might be some cases where the woman is just being a jackass and recording for no reason but in most cases women intuitions are usually correct.

this post is filled with replies from women who are saying this happens to them. if you don't believe it, then fine. don't. but keep it to yourself. it's not our job to convince you we don't get to just feel safe in public bc dudes constantly do this kind of shit to us. camera or not. (it's worse when they can't tell there's a camera btw.)

So you wouldn’t like…speak? Say “stop recording me?” Am I missing something here????

u/LilDingalang 2d ago

Several of them acknowledge the camera and then look away. It’s a possibility that she’s just going around filming people and didn’t clip the ones who did say that, is it not?

I wouldn't be sure she was filming me so I wouldn't say anything at first, maybe she's just holding the phone weird. If I move and she's still filming me then I'd say something. It seemed like at least some of the guys were looking because they suspected she was filming

1

u/LilDingalang 2d ago

Yeah that’s part of what seems strange about it to me

1

u/labiamajorapudendi 2d ago

You mean as in „stop looking like that at me“? Why don’t the girl just do it????

-1

u/Tinfoil_cobbler 2d ago

Some crazy dude on the street shoved a camera in my face today and screamed at me and I’m sure that’s exactly how I looked on his recording 😂

Yeah, they clearly weren't filming them the whole time. These men were already being weird hence why women started filming them. If men dont want to be filmed maybe men should stop acting weird. If men don't want to be filmed instead of acting like a creep they can act like a normal human to begin with and then ask the woman to stop filming, of course most women won't film you to begin with if you weren't acting like a creep in the first place.

Clearly. In your mind at least

First day on social media huh?

1

u/Euphoric-Border7856 2d ago

I was thinking the same we as men are pervs but not to the point the moment we see a female we starred at them like some rare minerals more context

5

u/PeachPassionBrute 2d ago

Denial doesn’t solve the problem. This happens far more than you realize, I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been sexually assaulted.

1

u/Euphoric-Border7856 1d ago

Not denying nothing I mean anyone can put together a video and make it seem how they please, I dnt know maybe I been out of touch from the world for a while but rearly I seen men act desperate in that way but I would not be surprised now in days

1

u/labiamajorapudendi 2d ago

I do. What now?

1

u/No-Twist3006 2d ago

Really? Don’t think so!
Anything more than a glance is creepy.
If this is my daughter I hope she has something in her purse that would ruin someone’s day, if it went places things shouldn’t go!!

u/Tinfoil_cobbler 2d ago

Absolutely. That’s why I send my kid to middle school with a Glock 43 hidden in her backpack. U never know!

1

u/lucyreturned 2d ago

Why don’t you try studying the emotions on their face they’re all scared confused or annoyed at her for filming them

0

u/Actually_Im_a_Broom 2d ago

Thank you. I only watched the first few clips and I didn’t see anything alarming. Just guys watching the stranger who is weirdly recording them in public.

And, for what it’s worth, it’s normal to look at other people in public places.

u/bighaircutforbigtuna 1d ago

So which guy in the video are you?

1

u/Tinfoil_cobbler 1d ago

I am all of them
