🔨 My Game - In-development I’m making a cozy magical library where your own notes become books you can read, with animal companions keeping you company, called 'Merlin's Library'
Been working on this for a while, I wanted a way to make journaling more fun and magical, because I've never been able to do it consistently!
You are Merlin's apprentice, and he's gone on a great quest, and he's not expecting to get back anytime soon, so he's left his magical owl and his cat to help you keep his library while he's away, and add to the collection of books.
There's a magical library to explore, with talking animal friends, where the library does the sorting and organizing for you, so you can get down to reading and writing by the fire, or in the hall, or even by Excalibur, the Holy Grail, or Arthur's other artifacts.
Along the way Minerva will teach you magic that makes it all more fun. You can even upload just any kind of txt, markdown or word file, so you can make school work, research or work documents fun to read and edit, and to get inspired by your calm & cozy, and somewhat epic, surroundings!

Obsidian vault compatible? That sounds very promising. I've always been leery of games with journalling functions because I don't want my notes trapped inside them, or to have to fuss about potentially losing them. How exactly does the obsidian integration work? Is it import only or does the data stay in the vault and get updated in there?

Turning your own journal entries into books on a shelf is such a lovely idea. Having the owl and the cat keep you company might be exactly the push I need to actually stick with journaling!

Ooh this is amazing!
Though, just to be clear, the works people put in on this don't get scraped for things like AI, do they?
I've been working on writing, but the last thing I want is my work being fed into a dataset.
