So I have popcorn shrimp from a bag that I air fried. 10 minute air fry, 5 minutes in I added fresh chopped onion and the seasoning packet from the ramen.. chicken flavor.
While that was going, I boiled the ramen and cooked two eggs with the rest of the chopped onion, some sesame oil and soy sauce, a spice blend that my wife made, and a little bit of butter.
Once the egg was cooked enough, I chopped it up and threw in the fully cooked noodles. At the same time the popcorn shrimp finished, so I dumped that in as well.
I added some sake and a little bit more soy sauce, as well as the rest of the onions and a tad bit of butter.
I did not measure anything except for the water for the ramen and even then I went a little bit over for that.
Taste Test
It's really good. Might need more seasoning, but overall for just random stuff that I put into a pot, 8 out of 10. Mixing together ingredients is fun.

The taters were whipped with S&P, Greek yogurt and butter. Salad is spring mix with feta, roasted sunflower seeds, capers, Kalamata olives, and garden cukes + cherry tomatoes. The asparagus is a butter sauté with lemon and black pepper. Stuffing is a brioche and sourdough base with mirepoix, roasted mushrooms and toasted walnuts. The turkey is wet brined, skin dried out, rubbed with compound butter, roasted, and came out SO tender, flavourful and juicy. The risotto is a butternut squash risotto with Parmesan, toasted pepitas, walnut and sage. And of course the gravy was the real deal bird drippings with a butter finish, sponged up by some fresh baked sourdough dinner rolls 🙂
My sourdough starter’s name is Breaddie Mercury. 🕺

Made a regular batch of biscuits and added some leftover mashed potatoes to use em up and a little extra flour to even out the sticky texture. They were so fluffy and soft!!!!! Cut them into squares and put a load of cheese on each biscuit before baking.
For the dumplings I used blobs of the extra biscuit dough dropped into the boiling soup and cooked em 10 minutes

I’ve read that you should drain away the water because they contain so much starch …
I’ve read that any good cook knows to hold onto it as a base for soups …
Trying to avoid the usual after-affect of consuming beans …
