Eternal Loop Theory Explained

Yes, I am the Antichrist.

No, I do not have the answer to every question that could be asked about Eternal Loop Theory, but I understand the gist of it, so it seemed helpful to state it simply: at the end of 2026, mankind collectively agrees to turn the year back to 2025 instead of moving forward to 2027. We continue heading in reverse until we reach 1926, at which point we turn around and head back to 2026 again.

The fundamental changes, as best as I can tell, relate to technology, laws, and population control.

All three are concerning of course. Instead of new technologies being released, they will slowly expire. Instead of lobbying for laws to be passed, we will simply be playing by whatever book our own past wrote as they become expired past their birth date. Population control, well, that's a sacrifice for the witches, I suppose. I mean, I can't believe anyone would willingly risk give birth in the first place when our planet is perceptibly littered with abandoned dumpster babies to be rescued.

Yep. Eternal Loop Theory to save the world. Our world.

It would be a ruse of sorts, you might say, but, if we abide by it, then it is simply a culture that has designed a mechanism to maintain a homeostasis of sorts. Obviously time itself continues on.

I couldn't tell you what is in every religious text published, or, more specifically, what has been written about me. It's relevant, but only to a point. As I've said before, I'm just the messenger. You've received the message. That's all that truly matters.

Why does the anitchrist care about saving dumpster babies?

It's not so much caring about the dumpster babies as it is caring about the women who risk death by giving birth. The dumpster babies are pretty much already assumed dead the moment they're dumped in the dumpster... and whoever dumped them in there didn't want them anyway... so, all in all, the dumpster babies get the privilege for their pain to not have to life in this awful world. I'm a bit jealous. Though, supposedly I was pulled out of a dumpster myself... but I have a tough time believing that.

You’re saying mankind collectively agrees to go back in time until we fight each other through world war 2 in reverse, and then afterwards we go back from 1926 and do world war 2 again?

Seems kinda stupid

Now this is a question I like exploring. Thank you.

When we head back in time toward 1926, there will certainly be some milestones to mark our progress. So, for example, I've proposed the idea of landing an airplane inside Tower One or whatever that new World Trade Center tower is called when we reach September 11, 2001. Something cool to showcase how incredible a stunt it is to land two planes inside those two towers while under the pressure these folks must have been. When we get to World War II era, I've proposed we have an intentional effort to seek out any artifacts from the "future" to ensure they are safely removed. We need to do everything we can to be sure that when we reach 1926, there is no evidence anywhere that someone could find indicating that it was anything other than 1926. (Though, I have obviously considered that somewhere out there could be something that gets missed, and, it's not super difficult to think about how to address that if you put yourselves in the position of a person in 1926 who discovers an object from the "future". If you are old enough to have been alive when the turn happened in 1926, you'd know just what to do. And if you weren't old enough, then you'd probably run to your parents or a friend or something and be like 'wtf' and you'd end up calling the police or FBI or whoever it is that takes those calls)

So will we age in reverse?

1

u/Old-Dirt563 8d ago

No - you're confusing this with some physics bullshit.

Time continues on. Your biology continues on.

Humans decide to collectively reverse their technological progress for 100 years and then do it all over again. And, yeah, apparently their population growth as well.

That's just not how anything works.

I'm sorry, but you will need to prove it doesn't... good luck with that.
