Hi everyone! I’m definitely new to posting on Reddit; however, I’ve been on the app for a while and I’ve been part of the jam band community for a while, so I’m kind of nervous and excited to be making this post here. My husband has a product (The Framefolio) that he launched on Kickstarter yesterday, and I thought that some of you all might be like him with such a massive poster collection and are waiting for a product like this to exist! It’s a new kind of frame that holds 8 18x24 posters (or anything else you might want to collect or display) that easily allows you to change that display while it’s hanging on the wall :) He invented it and is trying to crowdfund, but it’s hard to crowdfund when it’s just us (mostly him!) working on the project. It’s something he’s passionate about, which I’m sure is something he has in common with a lot of you all… assuming you also collect posters!

I definitely don’t want to get in trouble for self promotion by adding a link here or anything, especially because posting on Reddit (or any social media) is a pretty vulnerable thing for me regardless. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about it, though! There are more formal and professional adds on the Kickstarter page, but I didn’t want to get blocked or banned by posting those here (just in case). I made a super informal video of me with the prototype in my living room (haha!) so you all could see what it looks like and we could maybe get a conversation started.

If this is a long post, that’s because I’m an English Teacher and I sometimes can’t help myself when it comes to writing/explaining. Haha!

Starting a new job and could use some extra cash for the transition period. Comment/message me with any questions/offers! Thanks, friends.

This is a Chuck Sperry original of the Dave Matthews Band 2016 concert at Alpine Valley. The poster measures 21"x 33".
1,375 of these were printed for the show, however, this is an Artist Proof, which is rarer.
Slight bends on left side of poster due to improper shipping from the person whom I purchased from in 2016. The image and corners are flat and beautiful and unaffected by the improper handling.
This has resulted in the adjustment in price to pay respect to the issue, which will frame out, luckily.
Stored flat in portfolio since 2016.

Price: $750 plus $15 shipping. Open to reasonable offers.

Poster will be gently rolled with craft paper and shipped in a hard tube. USPS tracking and insurance proof will be sent to purchaser immediately after dropping off. PayPal Goods and Services payment and shipping only.

DMB Poster Collection - Shipped Goods and Services through PayPal. Posters will be rolled and shipped professionally through USPS with insurance and tracking information sent to you. Buyer pays $15 for shipping per tube. I will only roll max 2 posters per larger tube. Foils will be rolled backwards and in a single tube only. All posters will be rolled in craft paper.

Working on getting photos of each show but it takes a while to put together. Happy to provide a video of what via messenger. Thanks for looking!

It's been almost a year since I saw Paul McCartney in Tulsa, OK. Not only did I get this beautiful foil poster designed by Pedro Correa, but I was able to score a set list from the show as well. It took me a while to figure out what color I wanted for the mat and frame. After mulling over it for way too long and being sidetracked with family and work, I finally got it done and hung on the wall. I decided to go ahead and get the VIP pass and patch framed with it as well. This photo doesn't do it justice with how everything goes together with the foil, velvet maroon mat and antique bronze frame.

Uncut edition of 30. Surprisingly there were more foil uncut (60) than regular. art by Hannah Tatum

The Batman ears using the AT&T building is brilliant. Also I saw The Raconteurs! Still can’t believe what i experienced this weekend.

Mine is a pirate reprint from England in the early 1970s from the “San Francisco Poster Co” printed by Frank Westland (previously of Bindweed Printing). The addition of the red blue color scheme makes it feel way more psychedelic than the original. (Of course — the original, in a printing of less than 500, is work beaucoup bux now. Screenshot of original in slide 2 presented for comparison / contrast)

Edit. This poster is called “Euphoria”

I got the weekend run poster for the 2 shows in Everett WA; my friend got the tour foil. The foil is especially amazing.
We decided not to get the day specific poster as we would only be there for Day 1, not Day 2. But that diptych was fantastic.

Everett poster options were posted on IG here.

Sharing these over here as well. The Crosshair is great and I always loved the reversible Athens poster.

Shared this in the Black Keys sub but now understand it’s against the rules. Let me know if you’re interested, thanks!

As far as I know, this is the only poster that Ned Lamont did. The art style is a bit looks by most Family dog comparisons and I’m not a super fan of the color scheme. I still think it’s a pretty fun poster, tho.

Ran out of tacks. Had to put some black wood and glass around these posters to get them to stay on the walls.

Have several framed in the house, but these are the ones that didn’t make the cut inside. Would prefer these to be in a climate controlled environment, but seeing them everyday makes me happy. However long they last before they eventually get damaged in the Texas heat, I am ok with.

EDIT: First post in this subreddit. Didn’t realize it was largely gatekept by the owners and proprietors of frame stores. Naively thought it was about the music and the artwork. I will only post about my bougie posters going forward.

Love collecting show posters. I don’t care about professional sports all that much. Like, I will watch and enjoy a game with a group of people.

But my thing has ALWAYS been going to shows. I stopped counting bands I’ve seen around 200 or so.

I’ve always b lined to the merch booths and would buy a shirt or something but have been prioritizing collecting posters / show posters over recent years. Especially since getting sober. Being able to start collecting foils instead of being too busy getting loaded in the parking lot before going in.

****
I’m waiting for my Daniel Donato foil in the mail. However, this is your PSA… from someone who has seen a little bit of everything.. DO NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THAT DUDE AND HIS BAND PLAY.

I think it’s honestly my favorite show I’ve seen. Like I said, I’m sober.. and that show was truly a euphoric almost out of body experience. To just close my eyes and lose myself in his music.

Anyways, I’m in the southeast and the weather is terrible. I normally work 6 days a week and I never actually post on threads myself.

Just thought I’d post. Thanks for reading if you actually read all that.
