I just heard about Tony's literally yesterday. Crazy that Im seeing it here now. Very rich. Very good. Very real chocolate.

More expensive, mind you, but you cant put a cost on the freedom of human beings.

Also expensive due to using actual Cocoa Butter instead of Palm oil like most other standard chocolate brands

Especially since chocolate isn't exactly a "right" the way bread, eggs, etc. are. I'm alright with paying a bit more

It's very common in Europe. Tbh it's an absolutely mid chocolate bar. If that blew your mind try and get a bar of Lindt or Green & Blacks. As far as generic store chocolate goes theyre the best.

Edit: nevermind apparently Lindt had a separate factory in America.

They might be “mid” but they also use cruelty-free cocoa, which Lindt can’t say. I’ll take mid over child slavery but that’s just me, I won’t put my own luxury product over actual human lives.

Hate to burst your bubble but Tony's chocolonely use Barry Callebaut, but it's ok because they 'separate their beans'. Slave chocolate one side of the factory floor I guess.

If you really care there's one called alter eco I like, or lots of boutique suppliers rather than mass produced stuff that make their own from fair trade beans.

Or keep virtue signalling.

I actually do care quite a bit, which is why I don’t buy Lindt, but do appreciate you turning me onto another option.

I fail to see how I’m virtue signaling, but nice job showing you can’t offer an alternative without looking like an asshole.

There also aren’t boutique options in flyover states. I buy online when I feel like splurging.

We have Lindt in America, but it's noticeably worse here.

Wtf you're right there's a separate American Lindt factory.
