I love these comics!

This one reminds me of one of our cats and the neighbor's dog. They both adore each other, but neither can figure out how to talk to each other.

Neighbor's dog will wag their tail to show she's happy. Our cat thinks the dog is mad and backs off. After a bit our cat will approach with her tail raised. For dogs, a raised tail is a bad sign so now the dog backs off.

This goes back and forth for a while. Its pretty sad and funny at the same time.

Anyways, love these comics. Just wanted to share.

This is why cats and dogs don't get along. Dogs think cats want to play when they're whipping their tails around aggressively, cats think dogs are dangerous when they're wagging their tails excitedly. Mixed signals.

Tail wagging with dogs signifies excitement. This excitement can mean that they are happy or that they are stressed and about to pick a fight with someone. The difference mostly being visible by the ears

The dogs are commenting on how Steve is staring at David. David is the dalmation. The text bubble is originating from David. David is speaking.

No actually if you look at previous comics, David is the name of the cat that looks like Steve, so process of elimination George is the dalmatian

It may be easier to take the name out of it and reframe the dogs question as "Do you think Steve likes having a new cat to work with?"

If you haven't seen the back-issues: Steve was the only cat working at an otherwise all-dog company. Then, they hired David, another cat who happens to look very similar to Steve. Steve has declared David to be his arch-nemesis.
