MCM Comic Con - London First time going to MCM London Comic Con got a few questions
I've only got the ar code atm and just had a few questions. I got priority tickets for Saturday 24th
What time is best to arrive if I want to get in as early as possible?
Where exactly do I go at Excel to scan my ar code and get my badge?
Do I need to activate my ticket beforehand or can I do it when I get there?
Is there a separate queue for priority ticket holders?
And il take any advice about what should and shouldn't do I'm nervous lol

1) If you have priority tickets, try to arrive for around 9:30
2) Just follow the crowd. If you're getting off the Lizzy Line at Custom House, the crowd will naturally flow down towards the ticket area, which is like a loading dock area. Just follow the crowd.
3) You can, but you can also just get it scanned once you're there.
4) I think so

1) Priority entry will get you in at 10am so I like to arrive at 9 so I'm nice and early on site. Gives me time to grab a coffee and a snack before doors open. 2) There will be security and helpers posted all along the way to the Excel centre as soon as you step off the light rail and will guide you along. When in doubt, follow the crowd, there will be a LOT of people already there. You'll be giuded through a set of gates and have to take a bit of a walk which takes you around the side of the building, there will be big set of doors and you'll pass through security for bag check, then it's all boardered off with crowd control fences that you follow to get to the desk setup. The desk attendant will ask for your code, you present your phone with your AR code, they scan it and give you your badge! Lanyards will be on a separate table after you leave the desk, so you can wear it around your neck. Maps of the centre are available too. 3) You scan your ticket at the desk (see above). 4) Yes, but again it's all signposted up and attendants will guide you to where you need to go. It's pretty easy to find your way when you get there.

Have fun! It's okay to be nervous and excited for your first time! There's always loads of new people in the same boat too!
Definitely set time aside to do things you like and remember to take breaks for eating and drinking. Be prepared for queues for popular stalls, hit those first if you get early access tickets so you can get merch and art before things sell out 💖
