When Alfred brings Bruce the cowl was PERFECT! It was super clever to portray the moment when Bruce puts the suit on for the very first time. The scene was so sorrowful and grim.

This is my 2nd favorite animated Batman movie (Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is my favorite), but I still consider Under the Red Hood above any of the live action Batman movies. This movie is so LEAN!! It never slows down.
Having a Batman/ Nightwing vs AMAZO fight as the opening scene was bold. Jenson Ackles was great as the Red Hood.

Seconding this.
The latest Knightfall movie is pretty great too, although it does have pacing issues.

Thirding this!
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is my favorite Batman movie, period. The designs for the Joker gang were crazy good, and that slick, goth, minimalist Joker that could fight super well was amazing! The animation was outstanding!
The stuff with Tim having his mind broken and turned into Joker Jr. was inspired, in a truly evil and tragic way. It was the most messed up thing i've ever seen in an animated Batman story. Also Joker getting into the cave and hitting Bruce with the toxin, that was tough to watch.

I really loved Batman: The Long Halloween if we can count that as one film.

Batman “Mask Of The Phantasm” and Batman “Under The Red Hood” are two of my favorites. …. It’s not technically a movie, but Batman “Beware Of The Bat” was and extremely underrated Batman series in my opinion.

I haven't seen them all, so my opinion isn't complete, but it is definitely Mask if Phantasm for me. Just an amazing experience. Great music, stellar animation, one of the best original stories of any comic movie, and it is not even slightly pretentious, which some of the newer ones suffer from.

It should have been The Killing Joke but the writers had to mess with perfection and add that dumb ass subplot where Bruce and Barbara had sex, just to get the "movie" to an hour and a half. It was a perfect story, eho cares it'll it was only 45 minutes to an hour, you had the 2 best voice actors bringing their A gane and DC gave them dog shit.

New Frontier doesn't even come close to matching the comic and it's still a phenomenal movie.
