I wish WB was never put up for sale, which means I wish Zaslav was never in charge which means I wish the Discovery WB merger had never been allowed to go through, which means I wish the Fox Disney merger hadn’t been allowed as precedent-setting scale to fight Netflix, which means I wish Netflix hadn’t been hit with anti-trust laws before now. But I’d feel way worse of Netflix had bought WB to turn it into a shingle for more TV movie streamer slop. At least this way we still get WB movies on the big screen. Eventually somebody will buy this company from the Ellisons, but likely just another fascist billionaire.

Everyone will forget about it, just like they did about The Walt Disney Company acquiring numerous studios themselves. But it's equally as terrible, as opposed to selling off IPs individually or in large chunks.

I don’t like a MAGA cult Zionist controlling these studios and networks. Ellison is already in charge of CBS News and will now control CNN—Trump state media. It remains to be seen what will happen to DC, but it can’t really get any worse. I’d hope that Gunn and Safran get sacked but that’s obviously not happening.
