Vintage 1970s/80s Conte of Florence "Valanga Azzurra" (Pool Sci Italia) Rossignol Team Puffer Ski Hat
Hey everyone, looking to get an idea of the value and market for what I believe is an exceptionally rare, museum-grade piece of European alpine sports history.
Here are the details I've gathered:
\* Item: Vintage 1970s/early 1980s royal blue puffer ski cap with fold-down ear flaps.
\* Extreme Rarity & Provenance: This isn't a standard retail hat. It features the ultra-scarce 'POOL SCI ITALIA' (Italian Ski Pool) official supplier tag combined with prominent 'Rossignol Team' white chain-stitch embroidery and snowflake logo. This specific cross-branding ties it directly to the legendary "Valanga Azzurra" (Blue Avalanche) Italian national ski team era, making team-issued pieces from this golden age incredibly hard to find.
\* Maker/Patent Pedigree: The interior tag proves it was strictly patented and expressly made by the master tailors Nicola & Aristide for Conte of Florence. It features an all-over monogram inner lining and a 60% wool blend tag.
\* Pristine Condition: It is in remarkably preserved, deadstock-adjacent condition. The royal blue exterior shell is vibrant, all metal snaps function perfectly, and the interior white lining is immaculate with zero yellowing or sweat stains.
Standard Conte of Florence hats pop up occasionally, but a team-issued Pool Sci Italia / Rossignol piece in this condition is a true collector's white whale. What kind of price range should I be looking at for high-end vintage archives? Any insights on value are greatly appreciated!

Help with purchasing a Karasu Collectibles figure in the UK?
Karasu Collectibles currently have a preorder open for a 1:6 scale figure and I have been previously warned not to purchase from them directly due to their customer service issues, but instead purchase from a distributor. Currently, out of all of their distributors I found (fanaticanimestore, handsomecake, kaioland, and clubhousestatues), only fanaticanimestore currently has that preorder available. My question is two-fold:
Can anyone recommend a distributor of Karasu Collectibles figures in the UK?
Has anyone in UK/EU purchased from fanaticanimestore previously? If yes, what was the shipping quote you received? I searched their site and they do not shipping prices listed.
I would appreciate some help with this, thank you.

– Where can I sell an entire collection of vintage items quickly? online there is option?
Title: Melbourne, Australia – Where can I sell an entire collection of vintage items quickly?
Hi everyone!
I’m helping an elderly friend who is unwell and would like to sell her collection of vintage treasures as soon as possible. She would prefer to sell everything as one lot rather than deal with individual buyers, but we have no idea where to start or who to contact.
The collection includes various vintage ornaments and decorative items. I’ve been trying to research their value on Google, but it’s very time-consuming to identify and price every single piece individually, and I simply don’t have the time to do that for the entire collection.
Does anyone know of a reputable antiques dealer, auction house, vintage reseller, or second-hand business in Melbourne, Victoria, that might be interested in buying an entire collection in one go?
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who could assess the collection, make a reasonable offer, and potentially arrange collection. We understand that selling everything together would probably mean receiving less than selling each item individually, but speed and convenience are important because of her health.
If anyone has experience selling an entire collection like this, I’d really appreciate your advice or recommendations. I’m also open to suggestions for online buyers who purchase whole lots in Australia.
Thank you so much for any help!
