Clean mustard off his butt

I was eating one of em and I saw my little guy trotting over to me leaving a suspicious yellow trail

I think nothing of it for a second but the trail continues, so I inspect further and he's covered in mustard and ketchup

How'd that happen??

So I inspect my second hot dog and lo and behold-

Also, yes, he's missing his tail feathers, little fella panicked while I was holding him the other day and went lizard on me

this violent dinosaur was very unhappy about his checkup and claw trim and nearly chewed the nice doctor's hand off, so he had to be restrained😔

It’s my day off and I really need to be deep cleaning my house. He really needs attention today though and I could use the attention he gives me

My cockatiel just layed all her 3 eggs and now she’s sitting on them(2 are left under her because one cracked) she’s sitting in this position, just wanna double check she looks alright? Just warming up her eggs? Sometimes she gets up to eat some food but mostly stays in this position.

What are you guys using as fragrance in your home since cockatiels are very sensitive? Has anyone tried simmer pots with like oranges, water, vanilla, etc?

Gave bitty Peanut 2 1/2 leaves of baby spinach and came back to 1/4 of a piece left in the bottom of his cage. I’ve never seen him eat that much spinch at once. He normally leaves more behind. 🫣

I know he wants more, just look at his face! Gotta wait until next week before more spinach though 😮‍💨

Our 22 year old boy, Sam, is sunsetting. He has been having issues for a while. He is proof the meaner you are the longer you live, but he has been on the bottom of his cage for over 24 hrs. I honestly thought he was not long for this world a month ago, but then he started getting better. Singing and dancing and beating up his toys like normal. Then this week he took a real turn that takes us today. I gave him some cheerios last night and just talked to him. Then morning when I got up. He was looking at me. Crest up. I said hey buddy. I love you. He was in the same place he was when I went to bed last night. I left the light on when I left.

I got him for my dad for his birthday in December 2004. He was an escape artist and a mean little ahole, and we love him. He has a beautiful music catalog that he would sing in a long string when he was bored. The house will be so incredibly quite when he is gone.

She's been doing this ever since I got her. But like not as continuous and not every single time she drinks water

ever since she got sick with bumble foot. And now being a diabetic, she's had been dunking her beak in the water and sneezing afterwards and doing that sound.

But now I got her this water spout thing, and she is now doing that weird sound more. so I'm not sure if it's either user error now every time she drinks water or if it's a deeper issue in her respiratory tract

Meet Pepe, my beloved albino cockatiel, the second one i get.

First pic is when he was first arrived, at 60-70 days for the cockatiel farm i get it from (obviosly not: he was kind of 40 days old).

I feed him with the baby formula in syringe for more then 30 days, 5-6 times a day as the vet suggested.

This Freyja. She makes this sound whenever I’m eating something tasty she wants, luckily today it was quinoa/rice. She will do this the entire time she’s eating, don’t you dare try to touch the tasty treat!!

I'm sitting for a cockatiel and I'm in over my head, this bird had no mirror no clips no beak grinder thingy. I'm trying to do the best I'm only on day two she's in love with my boys. I added a mirror and she keeps chirping to herself so I thought it would be a good idea to add other birds chirping so she could hear them. I have no idea what home conditions are but I don't want to overstimulate. Am I bothering her/him?
