The private chat channel just subscribed to me...

Hello, y'all. I'm not much of a YouTube person, but I'm trying to explain to a friend why Chuggaaconroy is about the only gaming YouTuber that I bother with, and how his videos have a genuine sense of "Here's something I really love that I want to share with you."

I don't watch enough to have any examples in my back pocket, though. Maybe someone here knows of a video/moment that illustrates this?

Thanks for the help!

I have no clue if this is some sort of scam or something but in case it is i wanted to share it. I got a notification saying someone subscribed to my channel and this is what popped up, maybe something or someone is monitoring what ive been watching lately? I dont know, has anyone else seen this before?

I love the longform LPs, but I've also been somewhat hoping for shorter series for... a while now, frankly. It can be tiring having one really long project after another, especially if they happen to be things I'm not particularly interested in. The last LP Emile did that I'd consider short - other than Future Connected, which is kind of a unique case - was Triple Deluxe. Which was in 2020. Mystery Dungeon was 47 episodes, and every series since then (again, besides Future Connected) has been a minimum of 50 episodes. Nearly all of them have been RPGs, too lol.

Of course, I want Emile to do what he wants and is passionate about, and what feels best at the time. I would just like some shorter ones now and then. Especially after hearing that he was most likely going to be doing Xenoblade 3 after HGSS, which will surely be hundreds of episodes. I'd like a little small thing before then, as I'm not particularly interested in Xenoblade.

Hopefully this doesn't come off as too picky or anything haha. I certainly enjoy lengthy let's plays when they're games I'm interested in. Every Pokemon playthrough is like a months long buffet for me.

No this post is not about Chuggaa's lack of knowledge on Ooccoo during the TP let's play.

There was this running theme where whenever Chuggaa encountered Ooccoo he would refer to her as "those" deliberately instead of she/her. At first I thought "Oh he's probably referring to Ooccoo and Jr." But then when we saw them at the entrance to the Temple of Time he says "Oh great it's those again, and I ain't talking about her and her son. I'm just talking about her." So now I'm really confused why he did this.

Is this some old or inside joke I'm not getting? If anyone knows please enlighten me.

I know he said someone recently (like this year) saying like Okami isn't as liked by him anymore and I haven't seen anything on it. Can someone elaborate on this if possible???

i thought it was a DM, then instantly remembered thats not a thing on youtube any more, then i realized it was a notif of a channel subscribing to my channel.
obviously this is some weird scam, but i feel the need to spread awareness right away as thats usually what one does to help others be aware of weird scams to avoid.
this is weirdly timed too since Chugga suddenly hasnt uploaded (probably due to him moving house during the current Dream Team LP) and then this suddenly happens.

Anyone know why? My only theory is that he ran out of pre-made videos because of the move.

It seems like in his videos if he’s ever interrupted by something in the game while telling a story he always manages finish his thought. Which isn’t easy to do. I’m sure at some point he’s forgotten but he’s pretty good at finishing his stories.
