I recently shifted to Canada with my family and I think it's a very good time to change my 6 yo android phone with something new. I'm thinking of going towards Xiaomi and Oppo, Especially thier latest flagship models. They will soon release the global versions and I would like to get it on installment plan if possible. But I'm really confused on how exactly I should go on about that as the carriers here only showcase Iphones, samsung, and a select few. Anyone has any good advice for me? Thanks!

I am thinking about buying Z fold 8 from them. On their listing it mentions 1 yr official India warranty. I have read other posts where people are worried about devices being imported and having warranty issue. Does anyone have any recent experience with phone purchase from them? I asked them on whatsapp about all this. They say these are indian devices they dont import Fold phones, to which I asked is it possible to inspect the deivce in their Mumbai shop before buying and how do you manage such less price if its Indian devices but the sales person hasn't answered yet. I'm just so unsure, main issue is camera as I wanted to use the phone for vlogging. Videos feel not well stabilized and overly processed, indoor light quality isn't good at all. Pictures are either really good or really bad, and even really good are overly processes with that weird Chinese Ai processing which I can't find a way to turn off. Thoughts?

I'm using a Vivo X200 Pro (Chinese version running OriginOS) in Germany with a Lebara SIM.

I'm experiencing a strange calling issue:

Incoming calls work perfectly.

Mobile data works without any problems.

Outgoing calls disconnect after a few seconds.

My freenet SIM can make outgoing calls normally on the same phone.

The VoLTE HD Calling option is available for freenet but missing for Lebara.

I've tried switching between 4G-only and 5G-only modes, but the problem persists.

My phone is running the latest OriginOS version.

Could this be a VoLTE compatibility issue between Lebara Germany and the Chinese OriginOS firmware? Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution?

I'm struggling to find any in the UK or Europe from vendors I have actually heard of and would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction!

I am intending to do what I did with the p30 pro and buy a good handful of equivalent cases, keep them out of the sun, and switch over when this clear case is eventually too scratched or yellowed to look at!
