Mourning/Loss Goodbye Vincent
I had to put my kitty Vincent down yesterday - he was 17 and having issues with neurological complications due to diabetes. It’s been really hard. He’s the first cat I’ve had since a kitten. He initially was a support kitten for another cat I had who passed. I got him from a rescue that rescues abandoned kittens. He was found at the side of the road with his brothers and sisters and was the only one who made it. He will be in my heart forever - such a good boy.

Bless his little soul! You can tell he was really loved!! 17 years. That’s a good long life, but I know it’s never enough.🙏🏻

For me it’s uncomfortable to see these pictures and yet I completely understand your love and you’re proud to show us all. I just feel very sorry for the animal and the owner and all the other people the animal has made happy. I just want to cry for you all, and believe all cats and other pets go to heaven. Thanks for sharing the memories……😭

It has been really lonely without him greeting me in the mornings, and when I get home from work. And still checking on him when I wake in the middle of the night. He was a really beautiful animal though so glad to share his handsomeness with you all in passing. I am lucky to have known him.

I'm super sorry for your loss but you gave him the absolute best 17 yrs possible, we lost our cat at 15 last year and was our first from kitten to cat....soul cats for sure. Although Vincent isn't in the physical world anymore he is ALWAYS with you just in a now timeless form, I know it's hard but think if all the good times you shared together.. sadly the love we have is always measured by sadness but it's doesn't ever takeaway the fact of the love and bond you had.
Rest easy Vincent you seemed like an absolute amazing family member ❤️🐾❤️

Be aware that Vincent will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. He indeed is in your heart forever, and indeed a very good boi.

I am so sorry for your loss!!! Vincent was gorgeous and majestic and his sweet kitty heart just shined through his eyes. He lives in your heart until you reunite beyond the Rainbow Bridge.

What a beautiful boy! Looks like you gave him an amazing life. Cats get to love us their entire lives, we get to love them for part of ours. It's the trade we sign up for.
Sure he's having a blast up in the heavens and will be waiting for you to come home. I believe we will see them again, it gives me some closure.

They knew how much you loved them, and I believe we will see our babies again someday, as the rainbow bridge poem goes ♥ They will be waiting for you when that time comes.
My house is never empty; I always keep adopting more. I'm not replacing those who came before; I am growing the family. That way, when more kitties have to make their trip, they have family waiting on them to share stories and play with to keep them company till our time comes. Plus, so many places here are always full of kitties; they need more people to adopt. So many need love, homes, and everything they deserve.
I know it's not easy to say goodbye, but it's not forever; it's just for now.
My husband said it best: "We gave them a home, a safe place, lots of love till God called them back to his home, because he missed them. Now he cares and loves them while we care for others and love them till God calls them home; we will see them again someday. Till then, let's help, love, and protect all those we can till God calls us home too; then we will be reunited."
