I was playing on a save that was going amazing, i only casually playing every 3 days to a week. But i got down to layer 3, was breaking a barbed wire fence and as soon as it broke there was a beep and i was unconscious and died, got a last stand and then was killed instantly. after research im guessing my shit was blown smooth off by a turret twice. I think its insanely unfair that that can happen and turrets are bull shit and should be nerfed heavily. Something like a periodic beep or laser sight just to prepare you for the unreactable one shot

to be clear i am more upset at it being able to negate your last stand rather then the bullshit of the offscreen part. The turrets being able to instakill you RIGHT after last stand is horrible

and in further testing it seems i had a REALLY badly placed one since it seems they only shoot foward, still shouldn't shoot if you get a last stand after

With game release at hand, merch is a possibility now.
