Here is how he and his council have messed up Vancouver:
- ripping up bike lanes from Stanley Park.
- threatening to withhold funding from non profits if they criticize the mayor or his council.
- passing silly motions to invest city’s revenue into bitcoin.
- giving all our money away to police, claiming they are the only answer to the homeless and addict problems.
- falsely accusing other council members of “handing out free drugs”.
- zero property tax increase (how is the city going to pay for things)
- gutting parts of city hall to install a personal gym.
There are more but these are the ones that stand out.

I don’t live in Vancouver but living near them seems to give me the impression that Vancouver city politics are truly fucking awful. Seems like they went from voting in an incompetent little bitch to voting for another incompetent little bitch.

He might be, but he is the only one who's against the status quo on the continuation of policy around street safety, drug use, and the holding the province to account to start pulling their weight on these issues.
So for now, he's got my vote.

What is going to do besides complain and hire more cops?

Drag it to the provincial level, make them follow through on their promises they made in 2022 to own the DTES. To close down the SROs which are clearly not adequately setup to house people with mental health and addiction issues.

And I'm sure they're looking hard to find the people responsible.
