What are these Chaos Gremlins plotting???

I just bought a 2009 starry unicorn. So excited as this was my orginal build a bear and finally found one to replace one I had as kid (long story, but excited to have one so I have my og bab). The fur (Mane,Hoofs,Tail) were matted. I tried two different pet slicker brushes but they pulled the fur. I tried brush it just enough give the shape back to the fur. So now semi matted. Would build a bear brush work better? Like the pink/green one? Or are brushes just play/toy/prop? What would work that is gentler then a slicker.

I know this question gets asked a lot but I wanted get recommends spefically for the horses/unicorns.

I was so excited for the zombie cow, I even bought different outfits for them, but since it’s halfway through October, I’m kind of losing hope on their release and existence 😭

I saw a few people putting overalls from 'five below' on their bat keychains when they first dropped and thought it was adorable. Since I have neither a five below nor a keychain though, I decided to make my own overalls!

I bought a used Starlight Glimmer plushie for a great price, but unfortunately it seems like her back is splitting open. Otherwise, it's in great condition, but does anyone know if this is even normal? I've never owned Build-A-Bear plushies before, they're not sold in my country, so I'm not sure. I would greatly appreciate any help, if there's any solution to this.

Also, is it even safe to sleep with her in this state, or it really is critical? 😕

I bought two bears from a thrift store, both are pretty high quality, but I want to clean them just in case. I'm gonna unstuff and restuff them, but does anyone have advice on how best to wash the skins? Most people I know just throw them in the washer, but I'm worried that could hurt them.

I was wanting to make a Pokémon themed heart for a Pokémon Build-A-Bear. I know you can't stuff them in stores, so I bought one that was already stuffed and plan on inserting a custom heart at home. Is there any way I can attach gems or sequins to a regular red heart as well?
