Info over mij:

Hi! I'm a 30 year old guy living in Sweden who is dating a girl from Bruges!

I would like to make some local friends to hang out with in person and on Discord if you play games! I want to build up my circle for when I move in a couple of years.

Currently I visit every other month, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time (bless work from home). So I'll probably be around to help you move furniture to your new apartment if you need to.

About me:

• I'm a guy who works in IT. (I know, very unique)
• I like videogames and I'm generally nerdy. I used to work for a pretty big games studio.
• My favourite waffles are Liège waffles.
• I travel a lot both for pleasure and work and I mostly like it! I've been around europe a bit and like going on little adventures.
• I am friend-shaped and get along with kind people. My current friendships include people from many nationalities and different parts of the LGBTQ+ community.

Things we could do:

• Go for a beer/dinner.
• Play boardgames.
• Take a little train trip somewhere.
• Become gym buddies. I've been off out of habit for a year now and would appreciate the motivation.
• Play World of Warcraft Forever
• Go for a bike ride somewhere.
• Do a maker/programming project together.
• Just meet up to catch up on life and be there for each other in a non-superficial dude way.

Happy to become friends with you and your friend group. Find my references attached below.

Question:

"I'm making a post to make friends in Bruges could you give me a short one line review?"

Girlfriend:

"Sure"

"Wait"

"You mean I give one line that describes you?"

Close friend 1:

"let me think a bit, this sounds like an important mission"

Close friend 2:

"Ballz"

"Uhm"

"I bad at this"

Close friend 1 (Again):

"High quality friend, good with memes and an excellent conversationalist."

"He gave away his personal information for me to get a skin in a game not yet released. 10/10 friend."

"Bad vibes? Nej tack. Certified good frog who sends top-tier memes? 100%."

Send me a DM let's chat!

Hallo Bruggelingen!

Bedankt!

Hello! I wanted to share this work in the community dedicated to the city of Bruges. My boyfriend was there almost year ago and he sent me some nice pictures from there, so I wanted to draw some of them. I hope you enjoy!

Hi!

Ik ben 25(m), geinteresseerd in psychologie, hiphop, videogames en sport (basketbal, voetbal, fitness) let me know!

Hi, I am looking for recommendations for record shops in Bruges that sell electronic music? Techno/Electro/Dubstep Record shop preferably

Hi,
I am looking for suggestions for a hotel near Zeebrugge.

I would like to book a hotel with a gym.
Not a gym with just a couple of bikes, a treadmill and dumbbells up to 10kg.

But a more Well equipped gym. Or at least a partnership with a local gym. As they have with Radisson Blu Antwerp Berchem.

Thank you in advance! ❤️

Hi everyone. I’m taking my Mom on a trip to Belgium next week. I already have some walking tours booked but finding it difficult to find any boat tours to book in Bruges/Brugge that don’t involve coming from a cruise ship or don’t have a lot of other stuff crammed in with the boat tour (such as another walking tour/beer tasting etc).

I am wondering if there is a place you can just pay for boat trip on the canal and hop on while there? And if so, I would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you ☺️

Hey im new here and it’s hard to make new friends so does someone want to hang out I also speak Dutch

Dag iedereen,

Alvast bedankt :)

Hi guys, i am considering going to Howest university to the Bruges campus for Cybersec and i wanted to ask how is the social life and student life here. I am a social person and i come from a smaller city in Slovakia so my standards aren’t that high, but i would like to imagine my life abroad a bit more exciting (i also love my peace). I am aware that Bruges is a big tourist destination, but is the daily life there considered exciting?
Are there any cool clubs or concert venues?
Is it more lately considered a student city with plenty of young people?

(I wont be disregarding my school bc i want to have fun ofc, but i would hope it is not a dead end for me socially and wouldnt be studying all day every day)

TL;DR Is student life in Bruges exciting and lively or is it a small peaceful city with no night life?

I am participating in marathon of Bruges on 11/10/2026 and coming by car from Brussels area. What are the best options for parking? All the Interparking sites (T'Zans, Station etc) are shown full now.

Any side roads or nearby villages where I could park hassle-free and walk to Bruges or take a local bus within 20-30 mins? Thanks for the tips!

Hallo

Just a quick snap this evening

Hello,

Trying to get some insights to help my friend who is a bit overwhelmed (prices are more than I expected too tbh). The Guestlist is ~32 people, and still a year off just about finding good places in Bruges.

Are there some feestzaal/rooftop bars etc. you'd recommend in Bruges for a summer wedding reception? Looks like that might be cheaper than hiring a whole castle etc 😉 perhaps somewhere in the city to make it easier coming from the cathedral?

//

Hello, Ive recently been looking at listings on websites like renthero that are at a good price and not taken. However it asks for a small amount to be paid before I can check out landlord information. Are these sites scammy or is it worth it to pay that amount

Asking on behalf of my parents visiting Bruges right now. Where can they watch the Grand Prix this weekend? Any central bars that will be screening it? Thank you!

Hello,

I will visit Brugge for a citytrip with a dog soon and wanted to know if someone knows any dogfriendly restaurants or acitivities in Brugge :)

Hey guys, Asian exchange student here in Bruges. Our Flemish teachers warned us that they’re not really generous when it comes to high grades 😭

I know 10/20 is already passing here, but I’m hoping to aim for 16+ if I can.

A friend of mine actually studied here last semester and managed to get 19/20 in one of her subjects, but apparently even the teachers told her that getting a 19 is really rare here. So now I kinda want to follow what she did and ask her how she studied/worked for it, but I’m lowkey afraid to ask hahaha.

For people studying in Belgium/Flanders, what actually separates something like a 12–14 from a 16+ or even an 18–19? Is it about going way beyond what the assignment asks, more critical thinking, examples, research, participation, or what?

Just trying to understand the grading culture here before things get serious lol.
