Pi Hole and Ublock Origin make streaming much more pleasant. Sometimes you have to press play twice but I can live with that.

Feels like the Christmas build-up (i.e. marketing) starts in earnest as soon as October starts.

"Right. Summer's over. Ho ho ho"

I work in marketing. People start thinking about christmas as early as August. Thats people, not companies.

I think I saw my first Christmas ad online in May…just keeps getting earlier and earlier.

The pumpkins haven't even had their evening yet. Bit early to start demanding festive cheer.

Late November is also acceptable.

Its a tough one in our family because we have birthdays in late November so we never really focused on anything Christmas until December 1st. Everyone's different though.

Oh the Spar, a grocery shop here in Northern Ireland, have been running their awful AI Christmas advert for ages now. They used to do the "12 deals of Christmas" ads that I renamed the 12 months of Christmas because they usually start in June 😂. Its dreadful.
